Advantages: beautiful light smell! Disadvantages: Hard to find, and a little expensive!

So when I saw this pack for £12.50 for 5 small bottles (4ml each), ... ...a strong smell of that Escada smell which they all seem to have the same of, I don’t know what it is, but all Escada perfumes have it!
Then the fruity after tones a kind of raspberry bubblegum smell, which kicks in after a couple of seconds! It took me a while to work out what the smell was, but it is definitely bubblegum!

Escada Ibiza Hippie

I first heard of Escada when I bought Pacific Paradise on the Ferry on the way to Italy, from then on the smell always reminded me of that holiday, and became one of my favourite perfumes. So when I saw this pack for £12.50 for 5 small bottles (4ml each), I just had to buy them to try them all, so I could choose my favourite one!
And I must say they were all delicious! With such strong fruity smells which stuck around all day, my only problem was there wasn’t enough of it in the bottles, and I tended to use half a bottle each time I used it!
But it gave me a great experience of using them all so I could choose which ones I wanted in larger bottles rather than wasting my money on perfumes I might not like!
Smell
Of course with perfume the most important thing is the smell of it, if it smells disgusting, but is in a gorgeous bottle, then it’s not really worth having the perfume is it!? But…Ibiza Hippie smells absolutely gorgeous, so that isn’t a problem!Upon opening the bottle, you get a strong smell of that Escada smell which they all seem to have the same of, I don’t know what it is, but all Escada perfumes have it!

Unlike some perfumes, you don’t get a nasty stinging in your nose when you smell it, even when you put your nose right next to the bottle top, which to me tells me it is a good quality perfume, the smell is delicious, and makes your mouth water it is so delicious.
But what about after half an hour? All perfumes start to smell differently as the day goes on, as the smells start to separate and you start getting used to it, and this perfume is the same, the perfume doesn’t stick to your skin all day I must admit, and after around half an hour you can’t smell it yourself anymore, but I have comments about it long after I have stopped smelling it, so that is just my nose getting used to the smell of it! The smell doesn’t really separate too much as it is worn, and keeps the bubblegum smell, but loses the alcohol smell which all perfumes have when you first put them on. The smell goes more flowery as it is worn, but stays absolutely delicious on your skin and clothes!
How Long does it last?
As I just said, you yourself kind of forget you’re wearing the perfume and stop smelling it, but if you stick your nose into your wrist or wherever you have put your perfume, you can still smell it for a couple of hours. So it is perfect for a night out! Of course it depends on how much you put on as to how long it lasts really, if you put a dab onto each wrist and each side of your neck, it isn’t as strong and so it’s not going to stick around for as long, but on average it lasts around 3-4 hours before you need to re-spray!
When can I wear it?
The perfume is an all day perfume, it’s the type you can get away with wearing in work/school/college but also wearing it when you are going on a night out too. Some perfumes have a very sophisticated smell to them which only really suit a night out at a meal or a wedding for example! But this has the kind of smell which you can wear any time, I find that it is like that with all Escada perfumes, none of them have sophisticated smell to them so they can be worn whenever you want!
What is the packaging like?
The bottle is the traditional love heart shaped Escada bottle, which is normal with all of their perfumes, with a deep red plastic lid, this same deep red continues onto the bottle and halfway down until the bottle turns to a transparent light blue colour. It’s a very pretty bottle, and a girly bottle, which makes you think of evening.
The box is a simple rectangle, with a rose with a kind of tribal pattern behind it at the top of the box, below this is the name of the perfume, then underneath this is a pair of jeans which are tied up, with the information on top of that about the bottle size.
The bottle is very unlike any of the other Escada bottles, which usually have a girl on the front, so it makes me think this perfume is supposed to be very different to the other perfumes by Escada, but to me it is very similar to all the others!
In Conclusion
Ibiza Hippie is a very pretty perfume, and I really like it! I think I like it enough to buy a bigger bottle of it, although I have never seen it in any local fragrance shops, so may have to buy it off the internet!
On average the perfume costs around £35 a bottle (this is for a 30ml bottle), which is quite expensive really for a small bottle of perfume. And currently the perfume is not on Ebay.
All in all a god 10/10 for this delicious perfume!!!

Every year Escada brings out a different perfume in an abstract heart-shaped bottle with a ribbed lid. And I have a bit of an obsession with them. So much so, that my trusted bottle of Gucci Envy has sat unused for months.
In previous years there's been the green bottle of 'Tropical Punch', last years pink 'Sexy Graffiti' (a limited edition, goddamit, and one of my favourite scents) and now ... ...a silver rim with the escada logo embossed into it, and a red plastic top. This bottle in turn comes inside a white box with a lace-up denim print and red roses / tattoos on it. I suppose this is supposed to evoke the idea of an Ibizan Hippie. It reminds me of Britney Spears. Perhaps not what they were going for, but never mind.
My bottle is 50ml, though there are other sizes available, both smaller and larger, depending on what your wallet allows. ...

Advantages: Gorgous Smell Disadvantages: Costs Money (but then doesn't everything)
...anyway). It is made by Escada and I have the 30ml version Eau de Toilette. On the back of the box is the ingredients and the head office address and that the perfume is made in France. The bottle itself is vaguely heart shaped and is red at the top morphing into blue at the bottom and is a very striking bottle that looks expensive and also impressive on my dressing table. A gentle squirt of the perfume is enough ... ...it to linger for at least a couple of hours. It is a fruity smell that is quite like a nice fruity glass of white wine without making you smell like you had an argument in a pub. It lasts for quite a while and if you spray it on your clothes instead of your skin it will last a little longer. Final Conclusion

Advantages: smells of fresh cut fruit good enough to eat Disadvantages: none that i can think of
...to the ibiza hippie by escada (which i must confess i had never heard of or used before) when she produced a beautiful elongated heart shaped two toned bottle that was a striking shade of pink on the top and a pale shade of blue almost clear glass on the bottom which impressed me, then when i smelled the contents of the bottle it was exactly what i wanted ( a very fresh fruity summery smell it was as though they had put the contents of a fruit bowl ... ...30ml bottle which i was expecting to be very expensive because the bottle looked very expensive and the perfume smelled expensive but i was very pleasently suprised when she only asked for £22.
i find that i can use ibiza hippie any time any place any occasion but it is best warn in the summer months as it is like a duracel battery its strong and lasts for a long time and a little goes a long way.
i was also impressed by the packaging the bottom ...

Advantages: Summery, fruity, sweet, gorgeous, reasonably priced Disadvantages: Difficult to obtain in the UK as it was limited edition
...is the best of the Escada range and also the nicest perfume I have ever smelt.
It is a mixture of fruity and floral as most of the Escada perfumes are. I find that this perfume can be used during the day or for a big night out as it is very inoffensive unlike some other fragrances.
The packaging is beautiful and the bottle even when empty is a saleable item as many people collect the Escada bottles.
