Beautiful bit of kit that doesn't work! Problems are : 1. Bad design. Either that or it's broken (AEG now taken it back) 2. AEG customer services inability / unwillingness to do anything! It may be the design at fault. A microscopically small pellet of coffee is used. Around 25% of expected volume on a decent machine. The real problem is AEG customer services. I bought this machine on the strength of the many other excellent reviews from customers here on dooyoo who are clearly much more expert than me about coffee machines. I am adding this review to say that if you're like me (i.e. a complete idiot in the kitchen), but want superb coffee, instantly with no hassle or effort, this is the machine for you. ...well. It's not as ugly or space consuming as some of it's competitors. I have never been tempted to try any instant coffee machines and tend to rather spend a fortune on buying my cappuccinos in cafes everyday before going to work. I have been a Nespresso customer for years. I just wanted to let others know how I have found the customer service failing and lacking when your machine goes wrong. At this rate I may as well have bought a new machine and cut my losses. My machine is out of warranty and went wrong a few times on timer for coffee - seems a fault that I shouldn't have to pay for but there you go...
