Elevation Coffee maker by Woolworths.
Review of Elevation Espresso Maker by Grandad357

Advantages: Price and reliability.
Disadvantages: None

The Elevation Coffee machine from Woolworths, is one of the best presents I have ever had. I was so impressed with it, that after having it for three months, I bought another in case the first one broke down. Over three years later I am still using the original one. It is used every day, producing fantastic coffee, espresso, capuccino and latte. My Wife and I used to have regular fund raising coffee mornings and that machine would be going non stop ...
...every two to three months, depending on usage. The milk frothing ability deteriorates as the scale builds up inside. Descaling with Citric Acid crystals is the method I use. Care has to be taken with cleaning the drip tray daily and the frother head but otherwise very low maintenance. Drawbacks, the only slight niggle I have is that it needs to be mounted higher than a standard kitchen worktop to make access easier. Highly Recommended. ... Read review

Review of Magimix 11276 Nespresso LE CUBE M 220 Autom by belldm

Advantages: Service and repair machine and order coffee
Disadvantages: Fail to return machine and customer service not effective

I have been a Nespresso customer for years. I just wanted to let others know how I have found the customer service failing and lacking when your machine goes wrong. At this rate I may as well have bought a new machine and cut my losses. My machine is out of warranty and went wrong a few times on timer for coffee - seems a fault that I shouldn't have to pay for but there you go... Anyway long story short, Nespresso have had my machine since Jan 08 ... Read review

Review of Bialetti LA Cafetiere MOKA Express 12 CUP by louploup

Advantages: easy to use, easy to clean, easy to buy
Disadvantages: remember not to let the pot sit on the heat once the coffee is through.

Simply the best: so straight forward and idiot proof. I also have a collection sitting at the back of my cooker even when I go through periods of coffee abstinence. Yes you will need to replace the rubber rings and yes, every five years or so the filter cup starts to get holes in it especially if you are a slob and leave it sitting around with old damp grounds or coffee in it. Best to clean it every time for longevity's sake - in an ideal world. ...
...reviewer except on how to make perfect froth. The best way by far that I have found is to use your old cafetiere - a glass one with a metal plunger works best. You must scald the milk and let it boil or you will not acheive the same fineness of foam Once the surface of the milk starts to get tiny bubbles draw off the heat. pour into the cafetiere and plunge vigourously through the whole of the milk. Once you get a head on it then just plunge into ... Read review

My Little Deception
Review of Siemens TK 60001 Surpresso S 20 by fuzzybear967

Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Was pricey

First off I have to confess that this was a purchase that I never told the boyfriend the true cost of this purchase, I pretended I got it for £200 in the sales when actually I paid £320 about two years ago, it was still reduced as it was the last one in the shop but not by as much as he suspects. In my opinion it has definately been worth the cost and he has never grumbled about getting a coffee in bed at the weekend. On the plus side this does ...
...and cleaning is pretty good as well. On the down side it is rather large and tends to dominate a bit our medium sized kitche, it has a bit of depth to it so it is rather near the edge of our work surfaces. In all it holds just under two litres of water and 250 grammes of beans however it will also operate on ground coffee as well however these are stored sepeately. If you want a cup of tea then you just select the hot water option to make your ... Read review

Bye bye cafe culture..
Review of Magimix 11276 Nespresso LE CUBE M 220 Autom by DuffmanNI

Advantages: Amazing flavour & Crema, Fast, Easy to clean, Pods are reasonable price and good selection
Disadvantages: Cup warmer pointless as takes far to long

I recently bought a Magimix 11276 as being a student coffee is a must for exam times. Was amazed with the flavour and crema produced from a machine of such small proportions, and as a result no longer waste money in coffee shops as I can enjoy coffee much cheaper and tastier at home. Coffee pods are ordered direct from nespresso either online or by post and delivery is usually fast. One thing to note is that cup warming feature of the machine is ... Read review
