Saco Talea Touch
Review of Saeco Talea Touch by novell

Advantages: professional brewing; great results; easy to use
Disadvantages: coffee temperature could be a bit hotter. Warming tray size too small

...I have had three other Saeco models, so I am used to how they work. The coffee quality is much better with this new model. Friends say it tastes more like the coffee from a cafe' shop. Great crema . Everything is easy to use. It has a milk island which is an optional extra. It produces a dense frothed milk, much like the style everyone is after today not the light super fluffy type, but you can still produce this by steaming the milk with the steam ...
...is not hot enough unless you prewarm your cups with hot water. the warming tray ontop is a bit small and could be hotter. There is a two year warranty and my machine has just started to leak water a little so I hope this is the only problem I have. I will get it checked out, same with the temperature as I know somtimes it can be altered if it is not hot enough. I tried an instore machine of the same model and the coffee was much hotter. I make cuppucinos, ... Read review

Excellent coffee - accept manufacturing default
Review of Saeco Incanto Rapid-Steam by ang_e11

Advantages: Compact for it's functions, easy to use
Disadvantages: Had major problems with it leaking

This was our first Saeco espresso machine purchase about three years ago. The first 8 months were a dream until it started to develop problems, which I'll detail below. But first how it all works. Why Automatic? This is an automatic espresso machine, what sold us was the fact that any body can use the thing, it's compact, and creates less mess than manual machines. We were also sold this version 'Rapid Steam' as it has two boilers as opposed to ...
...this is that one boiler is dedicated to the temperature of the water for the coffee shot, the other to the steam for frothing the milk. Therefore you don't have to wait the 30 seconds or so for the machine to heat up/cool down between functions. How it works There's a tank at the back to fill fresh water and a bean hopper. Basically fill the machine, choose what size coffee you want (denoted by buttons) and strength (denoted by a dial), press and ... Read review

For the serious coffee addict
Review of Saeco Royal Cappuccino by ang_e11

Advantages: Fast, top quality espressos quickly, childs play!
Disadvantages: May be a bit of an overkill for many, quite large

...This was our second Saeco purchase, we traded in the old model for an upgrade. The big selling point is everything can be done with the touch of a button. You also don't get the mess that we've encountered with manual machines. Here's how the process works: Choose your coffee size (small, medium, large buttons), choose your coffee strength (by a dial) and press a bottom. The machine grinds it's own beans, tamps and extracts the coffee and then ...
...you want milk touch another button and there's a nifty little gadget on the side that sucks up the milk and heats/froths it for you. For those of you who want to froth your own milk there is also a steam wand. Most importantly - the product The coffee is fantastic, we experimented a bit to get a blend of beans we loved. You have to be careful with the grinder knob for the coffee beans (course to fine) as it needs to be set just right, but once ... Read review

'Espress' Value
Review of Onn Coffee Machine by 20six

Advantages: Cheap, quick, easy to clean, reasonable coffee
Disadvantages: Slightly ugly

"Espress' Value! Having broke my way through three different espresso machines during the last 24 months I was very sceptical of purchasing a coffee maker at the extremely low price of £9, particularly when it was becoming clear that what I needed is "help" and not a new coffee-inducing product. My previous buys had all been priced between £80-to-£100 and I'd killed them all with my addiction, but staring me in the face at Asda were a stockpile ...
...stripped-down versions of what I'd been using in the past. "Espresso Machine - £9" read the advertising…who wouldn't pick it up? I popped Asda's own brand 'Onn' OE001 in my trolley and continued about my business. Several hours later I was home, unpacked and fancied a brew. Herein lies the first minor point - had it have been a Gaggia or Krups it wouldn't have taken me seven hours to remove it from the box; the machine does indeed lack the desirability ... Read review

Cheap coffee quick
Review of Krups KP200040 Dolce Gusto by dbarcl10

Advantages: Makes good quality coffee, cheap to use
Disadvantages: None

I've had this coffee maker for over a year now and I have to say I'm very happy with it. It looks good in the kitchen, being black and silver, made from high quality plastic so is easily wiped clean, and has a good variety of flavours widely available, and reasonably priced. I received this machine as a wedding present, but I believe that it now costs around £90. At the time it was coming with a free accessories pack, comprising coffee capsules, ...
...far as I'm aware the product is still available with this accessories pack. Coffee capsules are available in the following flavours: Cappuccino Latte Expresso Lungo Chococin o Mocha Cappuccino Ice - Summer only Lungo Decaffeinato - limited edition Expresso Intenso - limited edition I have tried most of these flavours and have found them to be close to the real deal available in coffee shops. Most of these are available for around £3 for ... Read review
