It got a "Super Badge It!" badge maker for Christmas from one of my friends. I had said that I wanted one as I make handmade cards and I thought it would be cool if I made cards with badges on. It is a great piece of kit and is so easy to use!
The machine comes in a big square box that is orange with pictures of kids wearing loads of badges and a picture of the machine itself. The box is very bright and eye catching. It has clearly been designed for children and I think the packaging would defiantly appeal to a younger person. I think it looks a bit tacky and garish but that's probably my age!

I recently purchased a Brother P-Touch 1000 label machine from Lidl for a measly £10 a super bargain. It came supplied with a tape instruction manual and batteries. Having browsed the net and local shops for replacement tapes I have discovered than the average price for said is around £9. It was almost cheaper to buy another machine with tape, in fact if you count the batteries that ain't such a bad idea.
I have used many such machines over the years including the ever popular Dymo which simply embossed a plastic strip....................such were those simpler far off days. As with all things technological they have come on leaps and bounds and the tapes used these days are far more advanced than you might think.

**What Is It?**
Badge It! Is basically a badge maker. It comes with a kit of how to make badges and the material to make 15 unique badges.
**How To Use It?**
First off you have to make/draw the picture you want on your badge. You can use almost anything e.g cut-out images from magazines, printouts of digital photos, drawings basically anything as long it is flat. I've tried using cardboard but it doesn't work as well as paper. Then follow the instrutions on how to bulid your badge and place it into the front compartment of the Badge It Machine. Place the image of your choice onto the metal back and the push the comaprtment in and then the magic part. Screw down the top on the Badge It machine and hay presto! Out comes out a lovely looking badge.
