Review of Royal Bank of Scotland - Royalties Account - Travel Discounts by
Ka22a
Advantages: many
Disadvantages: none that I know of
...This account is a must if you travel in the UK or abroad or if you ever use foreign currency! When you open your Royal Bank of Scotland 'Royalties' account you automatically become an Entertainment Member, which is a world wide organisation giving you up to 50% discount on hotel bills. You can use it in the UK and most other countries in hotel like Stakis, Jarvis etc. Also any foreign currency or travellers cheques you take out with a Royalties account are commission free and you are given access to really cheap travel insurance too.
I can't recommmend it enough! It has saved me so much money so far and is definately essential for anyone who travels anywhere!...

Review of Leading Edge by

Advantages: Good prices
Disadvantages: None
...and submitted your details, you will a few minutes later receive an email containing, your travel insurance policy number, policy details, legal wording and ABI code of practice. If you wish to take the policy with you abroad, you just need to print a copy from the email. To be able to buy a policy from Leading Edge you must be able to receive the policy by e-mail or fax, so it is essential you provide the correct e-mail address.
My opinion:
I’ve used this company many times, without any problem. My recent purchase was for a one-day trip, to the cost of a whopping £4! My policy includes: Personal liability, catastrophe cover, legal expenses, loss of passport, personal money...
