Advantages Caring staff
Disadvantages Boredom
Overall, I had a good experience at Essex university. Every university has it's setbacks, none is perfect, and depending on who you talk to, you will receive a different opinion every time. I learned a lot; the value of hardword was reinforced to me, if you study hard, you will see the results in the end. Do not procrastinate working on assignments. The due date soon comes, and so does the stress. With that being said, the uni's campus is situated in beautiful surroundings. The majority of the staff genuingly cares about your success. Professors are experts in their fields, and the assignments require adequate preparation. The UK has a a different grading scale than what I was accustomed to, and you work hard to get a good grade. A wide array of clubs and societies to chose from or you are encouraged to start your own. Alternatively, Colchester is a quiet town with not much to do, which means that it can get rather boring quickly. Be prepared to travel a lot to neighboring cities and towns for a wider variety of activities.

Essex University? Must be an oxymoron.
