Advantages: Smooth; creamy; refreshing; delicious; low fat and calorie Disadvantages: Too small; price
Solero are amongst my favourite ice cream due to the fact that there is no compromise on taste despite being only 99 - 106kcal per ice-cream and about 1.2g to 2.9g of fat.
The solero smoothie range are a new edition by Walls rather than the normal 'solero exotic'. I'm reviewing the 'Strawberry and banana' flavour because these were the ones we picked up in Asda as a box of 3 for just £1! There is also a blackberry and banana flavour in the range.
Firstly, I'll point out that Solero's are made from ice cream with a sorbet coating. Sorbet is traditionally low in fat and calories because it's nothing more than fruit juices, water and sugar. It does however tend to be quite icy and crunchy in texture which isn't to everyone's liking but the Solero?s range is in a league of it's own and is set aside from normal sorbets. Because the ice ...
Advantages: fresh, two portions of fruit, healthy, no bananas, high in vitamin C Disadvantages: the colour, expensive if not on offer
Its funny how smoothies have become so established so quickly. I remember the first time I ever heard of them was when they were referred to in Neighbours and I had not got a clue what they were. Since then every town worth its salt has a smoothie and juice bar and such brands as P and J and Innocent have become household names. I'm a fan and will often make my own or treat myself to a shop bought smoothie. There's only one problem with smoothies. They tend to contain banana. I like banana and I know it is used to bulk them out and give them the right nice thick texture but I often find banana has a unique taste, which often overpowers other ingredients. Marks and Spencer's does a orange mango and apricot smoothie but that is more like juice. When browsing the juice aisle for my juice and smoothie fix (I'm an addict) I came across ...
Advantages: GOOD RESULTS Disadvantages: WHILE TO DRY
I paid £8.50 for a 15ml bottle of Essie Ballet Slippers Varnish.
I've used Essie nail polish before and I thought it gave fantastic results and made my nails look great.
The Ballet slippers colour is great for someone who has pale skin.
Other shades in the Essie range are:
Tomboy no more, damsel in a dress, bold and beautiful and forever young.
The varnish Goes on and stays on better than any other nail polish I have used. It doesn't chip easily, and continues to stay shiny and fresh looking for days. Essie has a variety of beautiful colours to choose from but this is defiantly my favourite.
I prefer this colour because it's a subtle pale pink so it doesn't look over the top when I'm going out shopping.
The Application is as follows...
It's Very easy to do
I recommend that you that you apply the varnish by painting ...
