Estee Lauder Beautiful Bath & Shower Gel

I really like Estee Lauder products, but I wasn't blown away by this bath and shower gel.

The design of the tube is really simple. It has 'BEAUTIFUL' written across the top of the tube in gold letters, and then at the bottom of the tube 'ESTEE LAUDER'. The tube has a plastic flip top which I like as it makes for easy opening/closing if you are using it in the shower. I find flip tops a lot less messy than screw tops. ...

The shower gel itself is an iridescent pink colour, which is really pretty and girly. It is really easy to apply, you simply squirt some out of the tube and rub it into your wet body! The shower gel doesn't really create much of a lather after you apply it and rub it in. I like my shower gels to really foam up and give me a good clean! You don't need to use that ... more

I got this as a present a while ago. As I had bought the perfume before and liked it, I guess this was a good, safe present!

The tube is made from see-through whiteish flexible rubbery plastic which made it really easy to squeeze in order to get the shower gel out.

You don't need to use that much each time you use this, a teaspoon or two should do for your whole body, so the tube should last you for quite a while.

There is a nice subtle smell left after you have used it, but this is not very strong. It is more the lotion that smells before you use it. The shower gel smells really flowery and it does smell 'Beautiful'.

I like using this before a night out since it is quite a treat to use, and it is nice to use with the matching perfume. It is not a shower gel I use everyday since I don't really think it is good enough for everyday use! After a hard day at work I like to come home and have a good shower with lots of frothy shower gel and this just doesn't reach the mark.

I think you are more paying for the brand and smell with this shower gel, as opposed to getting a shower gel that really gives a good clean. It was really nice to use but I don't think that I will be buying another one after this tube runs out.

The shower gel has a good long shelf life of 24 months once opened (since this smells so nice though, I'm sure there will be no problem using it up within that time!)

The shower gel costs £22 for 200ml from Boots, which I think is too much to pay for a bath and shower gel. I won't be paying that much for a bath and shower gel when I find cheaper ones to be more effective and better.

I did really like the smell of this product, and it was nice and easy to apply and it was really gentle to my skin. However I didn't like the fact that it didn't froth up that much and that it didn't moisturise my skin as much as I would have liked it to. You really are paying for the brand with this one!
