Esure Pet Insurance

They were the best on offer on price, esure pet insurance. When we got out Springer Spaniel pup, we had a look on t'internet for the best deal to get him insured, and found them quite a bit cheaper than the next best competitor. After reducing the high "voluntary excess" set by default on the web form the difference was not quite as much but we still decided to go with them. This cost in the region of £100 for the year. In my opinion this has got to be the worst customer experience I have ever been through. My dog was seriously ill at Christmas. I am still waiting for Esure to pay out (£3500) 3 months later. I have phoned so often that I'm thinking of listing Esure as "friends & family" on my phone bill so I can get a discount. I have been given the run around so often i'm thinking of cancelling my gym membership as I get all the excercise I need chasing these muppets. DO NOT USE ESURE PET INSURANCE! Our yorkie was poorly in early 2011, we paid the vets bill (£500), made a claim and had problems from start to finish. They stated they do not receive the claim form from the vets, even though it was sent recorded delivery! So had to make another claim, they agreed to payout.........and now its more than 12 months later and we are still waiting for a cheque dispite them claiming to have sent it out 5 times now, then when we offered to pay for it to be sent by recorded delivery they refused!!!
