There are Etams all around the country and from my experience of shopping there usually there is always A Tammy shop beside it. I was amazed by the very bright summer display which caught my attention right away. The Etam I once knew was very frumpy and the clothes were usually for older women and they never used to cater for the younger shoppers who like to shop around but had to miss out.
Etam has some nice clothes and they don't usually mass produce like some cheap highstreet shops and the prices are reasonable. Jeans can be about £30 and tops can be about £8 depending on if it is evening wear or casual. I didn't have a lot of money one day so I went shopping and I liked the appearance of the shop there was a huge range to choose from and every area of the shop put together by either colour or evening/ plain clothing.
There is usually an underwear section and jewellery and shoes. Etam also have + sizes for those 16+ but they still sel 16's at the small end. There are great clothes for bigger sizes and ones that would flatter not costing much more and there are always sales where you can find some great bargains.
I was annoyed with one part of the bigger sizes and this is the fact that clothes in the smaller sizes that only suit thin people don't look right on bigger sizes and yet they still make them for 16+. I am a size 8 and I would hate to have bought a lovely top and then see someone much bigger wearing it also, now by tops not for bigger sizes I mean ones showing off a lot of flesh and tops too low cut. I hope no-one takes this personal as I am just making my point and it's something about the shop I disagree with.
I like the shoes here and think they are nice designs and all not too expensive also the jewellery is very nice and I love the pyjamas. There is more underwear at my Etam than there used to be, a bigger display. The staff are always very pleasant and I have never found any problems and in the changing rooms I feel comfortable without having the feeling I am being watched for shop lifting. Uusally in some highstreet shops they watch you but that happens more in designer shops.
You can get an Etam card which gives you a discount. It is a duet card which can not only be used at Etam but many other stores also. I think Etam is great for a look but I don't always expect to get something but still I usually find something.
Advantages: Lots of sizes and variety to choose from Disadvantages: I'm always in there ages even when I do not have the time

Etam also do a wide range, of trouser lengths. I also found this handy, as my inside leg, is 29. I always have to buy a 30, and they trail on the floor, when I walk. Then they get tattered and torn and I end up chucking them out. Being able to buy trousers in a 29 leg, is great in my eyes.

Next time you pass an Etam store, nip in and take ... ...find.

And Etam Frances’s favourite of the bad bunch, made up of Tammy Girl (see description of New Look), Etam (I will get around too in a moment) and Etam Plus- Etam clothes made in larger sizes (some of them shouldn’t be for general decency!) So Frances stepped into Etam, in the middle of August and behold, what did she see? JUMPERS?! Does England no longer have a summer? (She asked herself) There were clothes everywhere rails ... ...and more at every turn…could Etam not provide a normal skirt and a fancy top? You’re only 18 once and Frances had wanted to look good…Etams range of jeans, jumpers and plain tops was all very nice for an everyday look and quite wearable for people over 20 unlike New Look and the like…but what about going out?
Ok I will be fair I like the clothes I have from there but they are all very normal, nothing special nothing fancy ...

Etam is my favourite high street fashion store for a number of reasons. The shops next to me stock clothes from size 8 up to size 26, so as I am a plus size girl, I find it really good that I can buy the same clothes as my smaller friends but just in a larger size. Obviously not everyone flatters my shape as it does them! The clothes are reasonably priced. The casual range has lovely t shirts and casual tops starting at £12, and their jeans which ... ...than you should. Etam also have a separate lingerie shop which is just as impressive and good value as the clothes shop. I think it became an excellent shop after it was bought by a French company in 1997, and all of the stores were revamped, as were the clothes. Well done Etam for helping plus size girls look fashionable, comfortable and confident. ...

Etam is a Womens / Girls fashion highstreet shop. It is in most towns or cities in the UK and I have spotted one in Strasbourg, France. So they aren't only British.
Etam is the womens part of the shop and Tammy Girl is the girls part of the shop. The shop sells a range of fashionable clothes and shoes but I wouldn't say that the shop is cheap. Personally I think that the clothes are over priced for what they are. In the Tammy Girl part, they sell ... ...acessories and bags etc.
Etam is the more larger part of the shop and they sell many more clothes. The styles of clothing there are fashionable and most of the clothes are smart looking and tendy. The tops are around £15 and the trousers are around £30 so still to pricey really. The sizes in Etam are from a size 8 to a size 18 I think, so that is good and lots of people are given the chance to look great. They sell shoes but I'm not sure at what ...

...was quite a joyful moment for me.
I dont think I will ever shop at Primark again, especially for trousers anyway. Etam certainly caters for all my needs as they have clothes for all occasions such as club wear, suits, shoes, underwear and lots more.

Advantages: Wide selection of clothes, it has some good sales Disadvantages: My local store is upstairs and I don't think there is a lift
Tammy Girl is the baby sister store of ETAMS that sells ladies clothes from age 16 upwards ? the stores are normally found upstairs in ETAMshops, so if you can?t find your local store, this is usually a good place to start.
It has all the latest fashions, and stocks everything from (well I wouldn?t now where to start) sweets, make-up, jewellery, under-wear, tights, shorts, jeans, tops, tracksuits, belts, things for your hair and more????..
Tammy Girl is my favourite shop and I spend many Saturday afternoons with my friends trying on clothes there.
The shop has a good selection of:
·JEANS AND TROUSERS
From flares to completely straight ones and shorts in the summer ? prices start from around £15 up to £30.
·TOPS
Tammy has a lot of different tops from boob tubes to long sleeves tops and waistcoats to denim jackets and also ...

New Look let's you buy fashionable clothes and accessories at a competitive price.
They do not rip customers off like other high street chains such as Dorothy Perkins , Top Shop and Etam.
They are also entering a new phase where the management are now concentrating on opening larger stores with more floor space and bargains, in such areas as the Lakeside shopping centre in Essex , and the Meadowhall centre near Sheffield south Yorkshire.
This is a good move and I have got to say I have had some great bargains such as tops and dresses for under a tenner.
They also have mid season sales in the summer offering even better discounts.
Some people knock New Look saying the clothes don't last five minutes .
Bull in my experience . I still wear from time to time clothing that I purchased three years ago which has been washed loads ...

as explained above the store and its products are good, selling the garments at good prices and a wide range
teh only disadvantage to me , is that i have not seen many fo these stores around in any cities that i haev visited so i would not no apart from brist (*)
