Eucerin also offer a wide range of moisturising products including night cream, shower and bath therapy, scalp relief shampoo, hand cream and soothing spray.

Eucerin dry skin relief face cream. ======================== I am a sucker for freebies….and this product was a free sample offer I received after visiting their website (through a link from a freebies website) The first time I tried it I loved it and rushed out to Boots the next day and treated myself to the tube which cost me £10 but is worth every penny!
I suffer from dry skin and am prone to the odd eczema outbreak every now and then, especially if I get stressed in any way. This cream is a godsend to me, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the same position! I especially suffer from dry and sometimes flaky skin on my forehead and cheeks, this can be very unsightly and sometimes uncomfortable, and looks a complete mess if I try to put any make up on if I want to go out! (I must stress I don't wear make up unless I am going for a night out or somewhere special)
This is a thick white cream which just sinks into the skin and leaves my usually dry skin feeling very soft and smooth, it doesn't leave my hands or face feeling greasy, and is quite matt looking once it has sunk in too. So no need for adding powder unless you want to. It is suitable for daily use and is even suitable for using on children (although not recommended for under 1 year) so it must be quite mild. I have never used it on my own children as my son's eczema cleared up years ago!
I could give a long list of ingredients but I won't as I haven't a clue what most of them are, It does contain 5% urea which is a natural moisturiser which is present in healthy skin. In some people who have dry skin the urea levels are reduced and so the skin becomes even more dry. It also contains lanolin alcohol and glycerine for anyone who may be allergic.
I have used this product after having my eyebrows waxed and it didn't irritate me at all, and have also used it prior to applying make up last week before going out….which left my skin feeling a lot better next morning too. Normally when I wear make up my skin looks and feels tired and dry the next day.
They do warn not to use it on broken/cracked skin or cuts etc as it may irritate!
There is no noticeable smell to this cream and no colour to it either (white) so it will not stain clothes or overpower any other perfumes you may wear.
A little of this cream goes a long way, I only use about a thumbnail amount for my whole face and neck, I use this about once a day, sometimes twice but sometimes less too, I find also that the more I use it, the less I need to use it, if that makes sense?
I've been using it now for about 2 weeks and have noticed an improvement in my skin already, I estimate the tube to last me about 6-9months at least, as I only use a little drop at a time.
The tube is 50ml and is available from most Boots stores, you can check the Eucerin website for your nearest stockists and also to order your free sample!
Eucerin also offer a wide range of moisturising products including night cream, shower and bath therapy, scalp relief shampoo, hand cream and soothing spray.
Another thing I've only just found out by looking at the site is that Eucerin is not tested on animals, they stopped this practice in 1977.
Ooooh another thing I've just found out is that this cream can be available on prescription from your doctor if they are willing to give you it….it would work out a little cheaper even if you pay for your prescriptions….I don't at the moment being a student, I will remember this next time I need some)

...very tight. I first tried Eucerin when I received a free sample and was really impressed as from the first application y skin felt soft and hydrated.
Although I thought it was good I did not rush out to buy it because I expected it to be expensive, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it is in fact very reasonably priced.
It costs £6.15 for 50mls from Boots
I use Eucerin as a day cream and although you would expect it to be quite heavy because ... ...long, I suggested she try Eucerin and she has had a good result as now although her skin might still get a bit red occasionally it is no longer dry and sore.
Also one of our clients ay work I work in a care home for the elderly, has been prescribed Eucerin his skin gets very dry and flaky because of the medication he is on, and again the results are incredible.
This is just one product in the Eucerin range and I would definitely say they are worth ...

...use as most contain perfume, Eucerin however is fragrance free, contains natural oils and is dermatologicaly tested. Once applied to my very itchy and sore skin there was instant relief and I had no nasty reactions from it, as with some so-called fragrance free products. I will be using the whole range from now on which includes a shower therapy, shampoo for a dry scalp and comes in different strengths of Urea. I use the 5% urea creams but there ...

...is prone to bad breakouts. Eucerin doesn't clog my pores and it keeps my skin nice and soft all day. I use the night cream through the winter to ward off daytime dryness, and it works beautifully. I actually find it quite healing - some scarring I had on my face has diminished since I've been using it. I bought it at Shopper's Drug Mart in Canada for $22 and even though it's cheaper than most, so far I like it the best! At first I thought it might ...

Advantages: Very Intensive Moisturisation Disadvantages: Can leave a shiny film (but does wear off).
to description of the product. 'The 10% Urea lotion has the highest concentration of Urea than the other products in its range. The other products include Eucerin® Dry Skin Relief FaceCream with 5%Urea, Eucerin® Dry Skin Relief Night Renewal FaceCream with 5% Urea, Eucerin® Dry Skin Relief Hand Cream with 5%Urea, and others. The 10% Urea lotion comes in a 250ml white squeezable bottle, with blue flip cap and a pretty bland 'medical like' label unlike the more 'cosmetic' products. The lotion itself is white and somewhat thick, but it does apply easily. Pricewise it is very expensive, from 'Boots' this cost £12.50. The label on the product has the following description:
'Eucerin Extrememly dry Skin treatment lotion (contains 10% urea), is a specially formulated cutaneous emulstion for the treatment of extremely dry skin conditions ...
Advantages: Amazing results extremely impressed. Noticeable with in one application Disadvantages: A bit too pricey
lacks in dryer skin. In very dry skin conditions such as eczema, research says the skins natural urea levels can decrease as much as 85%, so Eucerin helps to dehydrate the skin and prevent further moister loss.
The range consists of different levels of urea for example products containing 5% urea, such as Dry Skin FaceCream, is idea for daily moisturising, where as treatments with 10% are for very dry areas.
This range is free from artificial perfume and colours, which at first I didn't know what this meant but it minimises the risk of irritation and allergic reaction.
I had seen this product on the shelf's of Boots and Superdrug and other leading retailers, the prices were quite off putting, so I requested a free sample of the website (not sure whether this promotion is still running, see www.eucerin.co.uk) and found that ...
Formulations for all skin types (cream, gel and lotion), smoother skin that feels toned after a couple of applications, matching serum top-up for extra dry skin, one jar lasts for ages and smells fresh, clean and gorgeous.
Prohibitively expensive for a straight-up, non anti-ageing facial moisturiser. Lightly perfumed and non-hypoallergenic - unsuitable for sensitive skin. (*)
