It’s not always available in chemists, so when you do see it, skint or no, go without food and life essentials if necessary and nab it because people buy it quick smart. If you think about maybe or maybe not buying it in the morning, it won’t be there in the afternoon. Well, not in the chemists that I'VE frequented.
GOT IT!!
Be still my beating heart, it was in ... ...of a life. I used Eucryl INSTEAD of my toothpaste.
Not a whole lot to tell you here, except that it’s original flavour (but does come mint that I haven‘t actually seen myself, but check it out, why not) and so doesn’t exactly mint your breath up like toothpaste. It’s not a strong flavour at all, it’s very subtle and very much as you would expect with an Original flavoured dental product, like original mouthwash, but with a slight mintiness ... more
I used to be a smoker (ha! Feels good to write in the past tense) and yep, had the nicotine stains at the back of my bottom teeth, dangerously near to the front. Lucky for me I haven’t got an overcrowded mouth situation, my bottom teeth aren't over exposed when I laugh at people tripping over and Eddie Izzard, and I’m sure I would laugh just as much at people tripping over Eddie Izzard.
GIVING UP CIGS Whenever I’ve tried to give up cigarettes in the past, my mission starts with having minty fresh breath - extra strong mints, sugar free chewing gum, minty mouthwash, dental tape, menthol cigs when I can’t stand being away from sweet, sweet, nicotine anymore… the only reason I’m sticking to it now is because of the patches, loud music, chocolate éclair and fruit bonbon sweets and de-caff. So this was the starting point of my most recent mission:no fags. To take advantage of being free of grim breath. Of course sweets and de-caff hardly help, over imbibe and the teeth will yellow, and I‘m well aware of what else sweets do to your teeth. No lecture please, I brush my teeth often, have cut down and am over the cravings for sweets now.

GOT IT!! Be still my beating heart, it was in the chemist last week. I was very attracted by the snazzy, shiny, silver box and I told a woman to excuse me, didn’t care that she was umming and ahhing over it, and I grabbed it and ran. And then I went back to pay for it...- £3.09.
LOOK HOW IT LOOKS! The tub itself consists of 50g of high quality stain remover that was first established in 1900. It’s small enough to not make a nuisance of itself on a sink or a shelf and isn’t exactly a good looking pot to be sure, with very basic white, red ‘logo’, such as it is, and tiny blue words for the directions. Is NOT the Lamarr of dental products.
THE DIRECTIONS, THEN: Use once or twice a week as well as your usual toothpaste. You need to wet your toothbrush, shake off any excess water, then press the brush into the powder. Then brush away my friends!
WEEK ONE: When using it for the first I really didn’t expect to see much of a result, and I most assuredly didn’t, nor the second time. Directions be darned, I used it three times that week, and my teeth were ever so slightly that much whiter the third time and trust me on that, the smoking paranoia has mutated into sweets paranoia. I pay VERY close attention to my teeth and should get more of a life. I used Eucryl INSTEAD of my toothpaste.

It’s not a strong flavour at all, it’s very subtle and very much as you would expect with an Original flavoured dental product, like original mouthwash, but with a slight mintiness at the start of brushing until the original kicks in after only a tad while.
WEEK TWO: Instead of using the Eucral alone, as above, I brushed with my toothpaste first, then used the Eucryl as soon as. Now, those dastardly nicotine stains were grim of the highest order and quite, quite disgusting. It’s not easy trying to get rid of those stains, being in such an area as they are, but the parts that I could get to almost completely disappeared, which was all very yay and woohoo. Most impressed!
The day after this, I used it again. Brushed the life out of my teeth, and, again, there was a noticeable difference but not enough to write to my mum at her home about. I used it twice and I have an entire tooth free of staining!!!!
A few days later and another use of Eycryl, I have all my teeth free of staining!!! But have to buy a new toothbrush due to such mad usage... I’m sure you don’t have to go mad yourselves, but I was paranoid remember. Works best if you brush your teeth with toothpaste immediately before using the Eucryl, so combine it in one teeth cleaning session.
SUBSEQUENT WEEKS My teeth are certainly much whiter than before, so I’m very, VERY impressed with this product. It’s amazing value for money and lasts for quite a time, but can’t remember how long exactly. I’m sure you’ll forgive.
MY MATES VERDICT He of the fourty a day habit is very good and not at all rebellious (much) so he uses Eucryl twice a week. His teeth are stunning, the results amazing and Eucryl is astounding. (can you tell I'm seriously impressed?)
BRITSTORE.CO.UK There is absolutely NO information available to me about Eucryl on the net (but if I find any more, I'll be sure to update) but you can buy the product at the afore titled www.britstore.co.uk a company that deliver worldwide, for £3.09. Will only take Visa or Mastercard, though, so think again lowly debit card holders. Otherwise, it's available in chemists and has been known to turn up in Savers - AND POUNDLAND!!
MORE EUCRYL INFO:
THE INGREDIENTS Calcium carbonate Aqua Dicalcium phosphate dihydrate Sodium laural sulphite Aroma (very vague!!) Sodium saccharin C145430 c177002
Eucryl is also available in a freshmint toothpaste, for £2.99.
Advantages: Good cleaning power Disadvantages: It's a powder!
After a visit to the dentist, hubby came home with this toothpaste, ready to get pearly white gnashers- they did actually already look pearly white but I do believe visits to the dentist spur you on and especially visits to the hygienist.
THE PROMISES…
This claims to be a powerful stain remover, first marketed in 1900. It is used to remove stains caused by smoking and drinking coffee and red wine.
So, if it can remove all those stains, it's got ... ...of coffee every day!
WHAT IS IT?
It is sold in a small square silver box with all instructions for use on the back. Open the box and there is a small pot inside with a pull up lid. This was looking less and less like toothpaste by the minute; I thought you squeezed toothpaste out of a tube! The product itself is pink powder with a very strong mint smell and when used, a strong mint taste.

...have I got?
This is Eucryl Smokers toothpowder, and it really only costs £1.09p in you local Savers. Eucryl is available in two formats; toothpowder and toothpaste. It is designed for smokers’ teeth. This review is on the original flavour powder. I was complaining recently to my mother in law that although my current toothpaste is a smokers whitener, it didn’t seem to work fast enough for an impatient soul such as I am. Her advice was that her husband ... ...and he used to use Eucryl toothpowder to combat the stains produced by nicotine. I suspected that the toothpowder would no longer be manufactured, or if so would be extremely expensive, seeing as it was such an effective product. Well, to cut a long story short, whilst browsing in the local Savers, I spotted on their shelves a rack of the boxes and bought one. There was a choice of the fresh mint flavour and the original one. I opted for the original. ...

Advantages: Cheap, effective, no real taste! Disadvantages: Not widely stocked, difficult to obtain!
...That is until I discovered Eucryl Toothpowder…
I first tried this wonderful product at a friends home… she had been using the stuff for years and said that she found it more abrasive and therefore more effective than ordinary toothpastes. After trying it for the first time, I could see exactly what she meant – my teeth felt so much smoother and cleaner; and I definitely noticed a change in whiteness, like all the staining from continuous smoking ... ...Way) to get myself some Eucryl – it cost me £1.29 per packet (of which I bought a considerable supply!).
Apparently, Eucryl is available is two flavours – although I have only tried the ‘Freshmint flavour’ as that is the only one I have ever seen on sale anywhere! Personally, I don’t think that it tastes anything like mint (!) – although the taste is far from unpleasant; and it doesn’t ruin the taste of my morning Red Bull!
Eucryl is sold in a ...

Advantages: Long-lasting, great price, works really well Disadvantages: The original flavour may put off some
...with, you must understand this. Eucryl is not one of those new-fangled toothpastes with 'added this' and 'new and improved that'. There are no miracle claims on the packet, and the packaging is all pretty low key. In fact, Eucryl tooth powder has been around since 1900...so they must be doing something right :)
+What makes this different from other products?+
Well, its a powder, not a paste, making it an interesting experience for the first time ... ...I'm a marketer's dream lol). +Summary+
Not likely to rock your world - its only tooth powder :) However, Eucryl does its job well, lasts for ages, and all for a great price - you don't get that a lot in life. Give it a whirl :) ...

...review on the tooth powder Eucryl - This product is meant for smokers to help de-stain their teeth.
I however am not a smoker nor never have been but I do have some stained teeth from drinking a lot of coke when I was younger.
I drank a lot of coke throughout the years, coke is very addictive and I can defiantly say I fell into that addictive bubble. Back then I didn't notice how much I was ruining my teeth but now that I am older I can really ... ...last week I purchased that Eucryl Powder in Semi Chem and decided it's a stain remover - its worth a try ..
I tried it one day and my teeth felt great afterwards - very soft and lickable - u no what I mean, you can run your tongue over them and it's soft and smooth - however there was no mirrir in the place so I didn't know how they looked.
Later on that day I went home and looked in the mirrir and I was shocked to see my teeth were shiny and looking ...

Advantages: Great taste, smell and freshness Disadvantages: Could have longer lasting freshness
Whilst recently doing my shopping at Tesco, I saw the "Colgate Oxygen" toothpaste and decided to give it a try. Well I have been using it for just over a month now and am I impressed - you bet I am.
Now being one of those most anti-social of people - a smoker...... I usually brush my teeth twice, both morning and evening, once with Eucryltoothpowder and once with
a normal toothpaste. After having used Colgate Oxygen for a couple of weeks, I stopped using the Eycryl toothpowder in the mornings and a week after that, I stopped using it every evening too and now I use it just once a week ( as a sort of "top up" - more out of habit - I can't quite get used to not having to using it at all just yet).
Colgate in it's own right is a well known and trusted brand and one of just a couple of brands I have used for years, I have ...
Advantages: Whitens and protects teeth. Taste. Vegetarian. Freshens breath. Disadvantages: Possible confusion of packaging, with the 'normal' version.

Information goes to overload on the sides and bottom of the box. We have impressive graphs, more facts and more statements, one of which is that this toothpaste can aid removal of staining from ?tea, coffee, and tobacco.? Aside of fluoride, xylitol is also contained, which apparently is ?a clinically proven agent that helps fight plaque, a cause of gum disease, tooth decay and bad breath.?
*One caution listed is that, children under 12 years old should only use this product under supervision.?
If these claims were proven, I was certainly getting my moneys worth.
Not only do I have a tendency to sensitive gums and teeth, I?ve also smoked for a number of years, enjoy a good few cups of tea a day, and am very partial to curry. My usual ?Eucryl? toothpowder has done a monumental job of keeping all these ...
