Whitty title! Eumovate has proved fantastic in the past few days, prompting this review. It cleared up blotchiness off my nose within a day (night before and then morning application) which is a particualr miracle, given my sensitive and dry skin. The blotchiness (bright red, flakey marks) cleared up straight away followed by the dead skin. Im afraid i cannot comment on price, as I'm using an old tube from when the product was manufactured solely by Glaxo, as opposed to the SmithKlineGlaxo group, though this is lends fantastically to praising the products shelf life once its stuck in your medicine cabinet! My only complaint about the facial application of this product is the rank smell, but this can be covered with after-shave/perfume. Another use I have found for the face is to clear up the red marks around spots or troubled skin; but this is best only in severe cases as the product contains steroid like contents and may prove harmful.
I recently bought some of this and it really helped me with a rash I had. It nver completely cleared it up, I had to get something from the doctors but it certainly helped. Georgina
I'm sorry for the low rating but Eumovate is a very strong steroidal cream that should never be used for the face except under a doctor's supervision - and even at that, it needs to be used with extreme caution as it can thin the skin and cause permanent damage. As Eumovate is now available to buy over the counter in pharmacies, some people might get confused and think they can use it for their face which they can't. If you update your review and add a little bit about this to make it clearer, then I'll gladly re-rate it if you leave a note in my guest book :0)
