of the museum for a couple of hours, being ahead of everyone else who arrives later. I wouldn't recommend arriving after lunchtime. It normally gets busier in Autumn and Winter too due to the bad weather - bear this in mind when you plan your visit.

Eureka was great for all of the family. I have a 15 year old, 8 year old, 4 year old and another 11 months there was somethign for each and every one of them!!! I used my tesco clubcard vouchers to get in which saved me a small fortune but if i was to pay for the family ticket £31 i wouldn't have felt ripped off. There were under five areas which were fantastic as well as small 'pits' for under 1's so it gave the little one chance to get out of the pram and have a crawl about playing with age appropraite toys. Postman Pat was even there for greet and meet throughout the day Absolutley fabulous i would take them again!!! ...
