Eurocard is a low cost, worldwide accepted credit card, thanks to it's affiliation with Mastercard. It also provides a cash withdrawal service abroad. The card offers a number of services although these services are not as personalised and as speedy as the service offered by the more expensive cards, type American Express or Diners Club. Especially in case of loss or theft of the card, it can take several days to get a new card, which can be a quite embarassing experience for frequent travelers. The card also does not offer special bonus schemes for regular users of the card, at least not in Belgium. So the card is a good value for money product for the regular user who is not extremely demanding concerning additional services.

, or who you bank with, whenever you see this symbol, you can use your card. That’s not all, though. If the symbol isn’t shown, but the word “Eurocard” is written, they’ll also take it. That’s just foreigners being a bit, well, foreign. The only thing to look out for is the term “EC Card” – though potentially easy to confuse with Eurocard / Mastercard, this is a completely different one, and acceptance of it doesn’t automatically mean your card will also be accepted. With theft or loss an international emergency service helps the credit card. Also for personal security credit cards ensure. When users of the EUROCARD are are one and the own family accident-insures automatically, if one pays for example flight, rented car or hotel with card. Saves to one before departure the termination of an additional insurance. Also with a visa card you can take up to many more.
