For the royal wedding we went the whole shebang. We had a complete blue and White theme, union jack flags, bunting, table cloth and cups and plates. We probably got a little carried away as we also had little William and Kate Ginger bread men and Royal Family paper masks. We completely entered into the spirit of the occasion.

We bought the Union Jack cups online as regular paper cups just would not have looked as good. If you are going to celebrate the Queens jubilee with a British themed party then I can recommend these cups.

Price and availability

The cups come in cellophane packets of 10 and cost around two pounds. We bought a few packets from EBay and they cost 3.50 including delivery.

Description

The cups are quite big, they hold quite a lot of liquid and are thick too. They have a thickened lip around the rim that does not get soggy and helps the cups keep their shape. These cups are only suitable for cold drinks as hot drinks will burn your fingers.

The design on the front is vivid and bright. I always get a burst of pride when I see the union jack and these cups have that effect on me, sad I know!

I will probably be having another party for the jubilee as I'm a complete royalist. I bet you can get these cups much cheaper at the minute before leaving it until the last minute.
