I am a little addicted to magazines and tend to buy a select few every month, most notably Heat which I can’t live without (haven’t you seen the TV advert!), Grazia and Cosmopolitan which I subscribe to. However, lately I’ve become a little disillusioned by Cosmo, and fed up with the fact that the editor and writers think that I’m a twenty something woman who works in an office all day and can actually afford to buy a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes once a month. CONFESSION TIME Before I was married I must confess to have read women’s magazines. I loved reading articles such as ’10 ways to land the man of your dreams’ etc. I suppose the idea was to decipher the workings of the female mind and land myself a girlfriend. I failed. I've only just discovered this glossy monthly women's magazine. I was given a complimentary copy at the Vitality Show at London Olympia a couple of weeks ago and sat down to read it when I got home. I found it very good and bought a copy of the April issue as soon as it came out. It is published by the BBC and costs £2.90. April's issue is 234 pages long and has a fair amount of advertising, mainly fashion and beauty. I am quite a stickler for buying womens magazines and quite frequentley get told off by my husband for wasting money on them (he smokes so i guess this is my addiction!) I have recently come across EVE which is a monthly publication from the BBC!!!
