Evensham NAV CAM 7000

Advantages: Speed camera alerts bonus features such as mp3 and photos and low price tag.
Disadvantages: None that ive discovered so far.

...I recieved my nav-cam 6200 for christmas 2006 and i really cant imagine being without it now. It is so helpful and makes life much easier, gone are the days of having to fight with a tatty road map that you arent even sure is the right ways up, pick up one of these babys and youll never look back. BASIC FEATURES Its main feature is of course satellite navigation which includes speed camera alerts, this is an excellent feature which can of course be very handy if you are driving on roads which you arent used to. This feature could also be really benificial for those who havent got a clean license as it also shows common locations in which speed traps are frequently set up, there is obviously no guarantee that there will be a speedtrap set up in the locations that it alerts you to every time you pass one of them but i have found... ...I have experienced the same 6 miles to do 1 mile journey it takes you any where but direct the graphics are poor making you spend more time looking at the screen rather than the road it is more likely to cause an accident rather than prevent the nav system tells you to turn right onto dual carriage ways the single beep goes on forever all in all this is a really bad piece of kit the postcode search takes you all over the place i went to a golf course and i sent me to lane in the middle of the course all in all it is a shocking tool complete waste of money you would be better spending less money on a tom tom and use the savings to go away... ...I am the sterotypical woman driver - Fact. I do drive a lot of miles and once I've been somewhere I can normally find it again. My problem lies when I am going somewhere new. I can study maps and trace out the route I should be taking and feel confident but somehow it just looks different in reality!!. I tried multimap and found this helps but still gave me too much room for going wrong. My long suffering co-pilot and friend got used to going round round-a-bouts a few times before I decided which exit to take. She dropped several hints to me about getting a sat nav but I thought that they would be far to complicated and expensive so decided against it.
