Precision active monitors, designed to deliver a sound that's much wider, much deeper, much more defined, and packed with much more low-end punch than most direct field monitors. The EVENT ASP8 (ASP 8) (Pair) monitors are famous for their "mixes you can trust" sound. The Studio Precision 8 monitors deliver a sound that's much wider, much deeper, much more defined, and packed with much more low-end punch than mere mortal direct field monitors. Simply put, they far exceed people's sonic expectations - and by a huge margin. Low frequency response in the Studio Precision 8 can be felt as well as heard, its 8 inch low frequency driver utilizes a neodymium magnet and gives the driver exceptionally low distortion characteristics. It also makes it far stronger, despite its lower weight, and gives it a greater level of output efficiency than a traditional woofer. Dual large-diameter linear-flow bass por
Advantages: Good build and sound quality at a low price Disadvantages: May not satisfy Pro DJ's needs.
...The answer, quite simply, is yes. With 3 channels, bass, mid and treble controls and beat sync indicators, this is a must for any bedroom DJ. You may not find this mixer in any of the Ministry of Sounds' events, but for any amateur, intermediate or beginner DJ, this mixer has all the extras you will need, all for just £149. The PS626 pro 2 is very well built and has good sound quality. It looks the part with its Black/green design, and offers great features. It is laid out well, with everything in a convienient place. This mixer may not have'10 channels, 15 inputs and be able to make you a ham sandwich', but bar the top DJs, noone needs to use them,(neither do they really), and besides, who wants to pay over £1000 for something which isn't that much better than the PS626. For any CD DJ or turntablist alike, the PS626 is a good buy...

Advantages: Good Build, Easy to Maintain, Classic Look, Great Sound Disadvantages: Limited range of sounds
...get all of the sounds I need from the EQ on my amp.
The P-Bass look has been used over and over, and budget basses seem to be styled on the p all the time, but it is such a great design and it is very easy to fit cutom parts. I have put some seymour duncan pickups on, a schaller bridge and a white pearloid pick guard, and it looks so sweet and individual. The best part is it must have only taken me about half an hour to fit those parts.
And also, I said that the EQ wasnt very good, but if the EQ on your amp is good enough then the circuit on the bass is fine, and its so simple that nothing can go wrong with it and if in the unlikely event that it does, it couldnt be easier to fix.
For a bass like this the price is great too.
I would really recommend it to anyone who likes the Fender sound. It's fairly priced, sounds great, and you can...

Advantages: The king of hardware sequencers Disadvantages: An awful manual and a few annoying characteristics
...of patterns to use but this is enough for live work and i would use cubase for serious sequencing although the RM1x has the tightest MIDI timing i have ever heard.
The onboard sounds are a bit of a mixed bag and not sufficiently editable for my liking but the drum kits are amazingly good if you write dance music.
Overall i would recommend the RM1x to anyone writing loop based music. Despite a few annoying niggles such as the fact that you keep having to stop playback to edit events, the operating system is very intuitive and i understand that a new OS chip can be fitted by your dealer for free.
