    Stories abound of replacement windows and kitchens where it all goes wrong. When we came to choose a company to replace our windows and kitchen, we were looking for a one-stop-shop solution.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Complete disregard for the customer, shoddy workmanship, misrepresentation of the product

    Everest Kitchens, or as in my own mind they should be called "Everstressed" have just completed a kichen nightmare for us. It has taken them 655 days and 2 kitchens to do so. They used shoddy subcontractors to install the first kitchen, not the dedicated skilled team of Everest's own personel that they promised and advertised on their slick sales pitch.. Everything that could go wrong did so, and Everest could not have cared less. The wrong doors were delivered. The wrong hob, the wrong plinths. Then new doors with all the wrong handles.     Ten years ago, I had Everest windows and doors fitted throughout the house. They weren't the cheapest on the market, but the installation service was excellent, and they look as good today as when they were put in. I'd seen Everest advertising their new venture into fitted kitchens, and thought I'd see if they could do as good a job. I phoned the call centre and made an appointment for a designer to visit.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Cannot fault anything,every little thing was sorted to the last bit & pure satisfaction guaranteed.

    After viewing a variety of fitted kitchen showrooms and browsing various online websites we found none according to our expectations & build quality .We want our kitchens to be on a total different league from the standard fitted kitchens. So me & my Mrs bravely decided to have a fully customised kitchen according to our choice.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Poor workmanship & lack of intrest to resolve problems.

    I had a new kitchen fitted on the 1st September 2008, I am still waiting for it to be completed to my satisfaction some 11 weeks later. Some of the problems have been as follows: Original electrical items ordered not being provided. The items suggested as replacements not being to same specification or better. There were numerous phone calls made to try and have acceptable items supplied. Not being advised of date & time of arrival of installers as advised in their letters. (Installer did arrive on 1st September, but was wearing a B&Q T-shirt and said he had come to install a B&Q kitchen) ... more
