We bought some nice balloons for when Prince William was getting married to Kate Middleton and we got these in a pack of 10 and I paid £1.40 for them. I bought two packs so that we had twenty balloons, which was a better number. I thought this was a fair price to pay because they were a special occasion balloon and at the time, a lot of things with Union Jacks on were popular and the prices seemed to be getting higher, so I was pleased with these.I wasn’t so keen on the background colour of these balloons though, that was the only thing I didn’t care for. They were a pale salmon colour and they had a medium sized print of a Union Jack on each balloon. I think the Union Jack could have done with being a little bit larger and I would have preferred it if the background colour had been white, or even cream, instead of the salmon colour, because I find salmon quite sickly.
The balloons were fine to blow up and they could be filled with ordinary breath or helium. We blew them up ourselves. They were a good size when we fully blew them up but one of them popped, only one, as we had blown far too much air into it.They all looked nice and very patriotic when they were filled and hanging up decoratively around the room. They went down slowly a few days after the wedding but they seemed to last well and we were all very happy with them.
I might buy some more of these for the Jubilee but I will see if I can find them in a nicer background colour. I recommend these to you.
