Everything that starts with P ...

Who was the top pundit amongst Ciao's opionators? Was brianLFC better than dchurch? Was vinodgm better than me? I decided it was time to find out.

Anyone who entered specific predictions in a Ciao op prior to the first match being played was included in this little contest. Six people qualified, of which four predicted all the way to the final and the other two the group stages only.

THE SCORING:

One point awarded for each team predicted to reached the second round, with a bonus point for correctly predicting the gout winner.

One point for correctly predicting each team on reaching each progressive round.

One point for predicting the winner of the final.

CONCLUSION

I'm not gorra write out everyone's full predictions as they are on full how elsewhere but suffice to say;

vinodgm won mostly due to the prediction that Brazil would win the World Cup.

niknaKy2k2 may have won outright if they had given specific predictions on the latter rounds.

dchurch is bound to give me a ribbing at work tomorrow after beating me in my own op.

I was the only person with faith in Sweden !

In general we were all rubbish getting only one correct Semi-Final berth between us.

At least I was right in saying that the Africans would have a bad tournament. Only one progressing through the group and nothing beyond the last 8.

But please don't check out my other predictions. It's like a Shakespeare production. A real Comedy of Errors!
