Wicked Game is one of the most beautiful love songs ever for me. Chris Isaak made this ballad unforgettable. The crying guitar riffs in the beginning of the song bring you into the right mood then Chris’s yearning voice is simply magical.

I haven’t listened to this song for a long time now then today I turned on the radio and the first song I heard was Wicked Game but from Stone Sour. This band is very kind to me however I love only “Through glass” from them but I listen to it every day as it is my ringtone on my mobile. So I listen to this song and I thought it can’t catch up with the original as that is a masterpiece.

The guitar riffs are incredible and Taylor’s voice suits this song as much as Chris Isaak’s. The song is slightly different from the original but still has the main characteristic yearning parts which make this song really wicked.

I think rock bands sang the most beautiful love songs ever and Taylor’s voice is sophisticated to ooze charm and the yearning hooks are beautiful. The guitar riffs dominate this song and make it emotional and soulful.

I have to highlight the lyrics as well as it is very poignant. The song was written by Chris Isaak and was released in 1989 as a single then became a hit after it featured Wild at Heart. Do you remember?
