REVISED - REVIEW - PRIMER DVD

Advantages: You can actually feel your brain working
Disadvantages: First viewing makes no sense

) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- REVISION SO - I watched this film again and it soon became apparent that there was something I had missed - but in disregard to the annoyance this will cause people who are trying to re-rate this review - I cannot tell you what I saw. Remeber how you felt when you got to the end of "The Usual Suspects" or "Sixth Sense" well this film is like that - unless you were one of those who pretended to know what was going on. Primer has a kind of twist (if that is what you want to call it) but it is far more subtle and even after watching it twice I still think I missed something. The moment of realisation is quite sly and you may miss it, but when you do you will wonder that perhaps you should start again and watch from the beginning. - So I did and I learnt nothing new except that when I got to the end I then thought I had missed something ...

Review of Primer (DVD)

Makeup primer with a lovely rosy glow!

Advantages: A lovely smooth and rosy glow!
Disadvantages: Expensive but a high end product.

I've read that using a face primer before applying foundation helps give a more smoother make-up application, and also helps foundation last longer. Having been so impressed with MAC Foundation I was originally going to give the MAC Primer a go, but I've heard so many good things about the Benefit cosmetics range I decided to give this one a go! Benefit Cosmetics is a global beauty brand, with over 1,000 counters in more than 25 countries. You may find their counters in Debenhams and larger Boots stores, and they are a high end cosmetics company. Their products have a lovely quirkyness to them and their packaging is always bright and colourful, the product names always something original. This skin primer is called "that gal" (no capitals!) and comes in a brightly packaged box with has a drawing of a cityscape on it ...

Review of Benefit That Gal Primer

UD Primer Potion - Make a Wish (or THREE!)

Advantages: (+) Does what it says on the bottle - no creasing, max colour, holds like glue (+) design
Disadvantages: (-) not enough in the tube *sigh...sob*

This is one of my ultimate HG ("Holy Grail" for those new to make-up or unfamiliar with make-up terminology! Unsuprisingly, only a couple of years ago, many people had never even heard of Urban Decay despite its availability in most drug-stores such as Boots, Superdrug, and so forth. However, it has become hugely popular on the cosmetics scene and has now edged its way into some of the high-end market stores such as House of Fraser ...
