Who said the N64 doesn't have any decent racing games? Excitebike 64 is without doubt the

best motorbike game ever made and one of the very best racers of any kind on any system. Rounding out the holy trilogy of extreme sports titles for the N64--started by Wave Race 64 and 1080° Snowboarding--this is perhaps the best of the lot. Excitebike 64 is actually a motocross simulator, which for the uninitiated means that instead of driving around boring circuit tracks grazing your knees you get to drive up mountains and across sand dunes, thereby putting considerably more body parts at risk and having a lot more fun while you're at it. The courses alternate between interior tracks and some truly impressive outdoor ones. But if you don't like any of that you could always create your own using the track editor. The game also contains some excellent bonus courses for you to unlock including a randomly generated desert race, a Tony Hawk's-esque stunt course, two versions of the original NES version of Excitebike and a game of motorbike football. With all that plus one of the best multiplayer modes ever, this is yet another N64 must-have. --David Jenkins
Advantages: Fun at first, best in it's league Disadvantages: Gets boring

It will take a few seconds to cool, but you can speed the process by knocking an opponent off of their bike (which automatically brings the temperature to the start of the green). If you are going to land on the decline of a hill, point the front end down a bit, especially if you have to make another jump right away. Nothing stinks away more speed than landing right on the next hill's incline. If you ...

Advantages: great graphics and gameplay Disadvantages: none that i can think of
Okay Okay. We all remember the old excite bike for the original Nintendo, and how much fun it was. It was very hard and challenging, but it was awesome. Now that you have that in your mind, add awesome 3D N64 graphics, mixed with great CD quality sound, and still keep the same fun with tons of stunts thrown in, and now you have the greatest motorcycle game to reach a console. EXCITE BIKE 64! This is a big part of any game, and it of course is one ... ...Well this game's sound is some of the best I have ever heard for any motorcycle game. The sounds are nice and crispy, with almost no flaws whatsoever. The engines sound just the same as in real life, and the sounds of your bike going through splashing water are almost completely realistic sounding. The music is also very good and doesn't sound cheap at all. It goes great with the game. Well I don't have a lot to say about the graphics other than ...

Well I rented this game and when I got it I thought is was going to be the best! But it Wasn't. The graphics are ok but not to good. When your riding your bike It's really hard to controle the bike. The corners are to thin so it makes it really hard to turn. The Riders, there really is no proffesional people in the game. They just make up the people. When your at the start line you fell like just going as fast as you want but you can't. You only ...

Advantages: The gameplay is brilliant and the graphics well..... Disadvantages: You be wanting more.
...So it’s finally here after months of waiting one of Left Field’s finest games for the N64 hits the shelves and is consequently swiped back off again by thousands of hungry gamers. Excitebike64 is a long awaited update of a classic NES game but it’s more than just an up date, it has plenty of extra’s to get your teeth into!
The first thing that will hit you about this game is the incredible attention to detail on the graphics, the bikes, the characters, the tracks, the scenery, everything all have pixel perfect looks and amazingly this has no effect on the games ‘smoothness’ of play and although you will be hurtling past the Scenery at unthinkable speeds you will be wanting to slow down and gaze at it’s beauty.
Excitebike64 has lots of different modes that include, Season mode where you...
