I have always been a keen reader and never thought that I would ever pick up a horror book. As I and a chicken when it comes to things like that. That was until my friend introduced me to Shaun Hutson.

This is his latest book and like all his others gripped me from the very start. This he seems to do time after time. Only in this book he is not as gory.

This book is based in London, a gang called the Yardies have been chased out of Jamaica by rivals. Their leader Ernie Colding who is also known as "Papa Ernie" has come to London to try and wipe out any competition that there may be.

There is a very small time crook by the name of Frank Newton who decides to do one last robbery with the men he has been involved with for years. They all recon this last job will give them the financial security they are all looking for.

On completing the job they discover that the majority of the money belongs to Parker. Parker is the 'Main man' in London, who is competition for papa Ernie.

Individually they are all brought to Parkers place where he tells them he knows it was them who have his money and in return for their lives they must do one last thing for him. With this they will be paid more money.

This entails getting rid of the Yardies. This gang are causing a masacre throughout the streets of London.

Frank and his men must complete this job as they all need the money and their freedom so much.

I wont go too much into it as it will spoil the book for you. The ending is not as good as I had enticipated but all in all this has to be one of his best books yet and no doubt he will have many more to come. (I do hope he does)

This book cost £6.99 from a reputable book store in Edinburgh, which is average price for a shaun Hutson paperback. There are just over 500 pages of pure excellence.

Yet again Shaun has delivered the goods.
