Bertagna's "Exodus" is divided into 3 separate areas (Savage Earth, Netherworld, Noospace) then they're each separated into chapters. Mara Bell is an inhabitant of a drowning island, Wing, one of few left after an enormous melt down of the polar ice-caps up north causing a worldwide flood. Wing isn't given a location, but further on through the book, you begin to get the idea it's an island somewhere around ... ...stone, is Mara's………

Bertagna writes in a style that keeps you awake throughout the book, and somehow with this style also manages to make you stop for a while, and think about what may happen or go over what has just happened. Exodus has an awesome story line and covers a fast world and introduces you to oh-so many characters and personalities and creates your own world inside your mind purely from imagination ...

Advantages: Fabulous description, amazing imaginative worlds, likable chacters, believable [almost] setting... Disadvantages: Deaths at beginning were a little blunt and rushed, development of villan could have been better...
