I recently booked a flight with Expedia for the same day and while the money was taken out of my account immediately, Expedia didn't confirm to the airline on time which resulted to my booking being cancelled. I received a call and an email from Exepdia informing me that they were unable to proceed with my booking as it was for the same day and i had to book again for the same flight through another travel agency. Although my booking with Expedia was cancelled by EXPEDIA itself and in writing, they are to date still holding my money (£1650). After dozens of calls with useless customer advisors, i have been advised today that i should expect to receive an update on my case in 2 to 12 weeks.... Their customer service helpline is structured in a way that you can never speak twice to the same person, your previous calls are not recorded and there is no follow up. This basically means that i have to repeat endlessly the facts each i call adn i get, endlessly the same answer. On various occasions i was promised that a customer advisor would contact me, which to date hasn't happened. This is outrageous and purely unacceptable from a such a big company. I will now proceed with legal actions as i wasn't left with any other options but i am very disappointed with the handling of the affair. Ben
