Advantages: graphics, motion censor in joy pad, very sexy looking Disadvantages: a big hole in my pocket from the price
stand) 1 sixaxis wireless controller and the consol for £489.99.
Over all I would say that the graphics are better on the ps3 than the Xbox and I should know this as I have got an Xbox360, but it has an added dimension of a control pad with a motion censor and the games are about the same price as the Xbox games which is between £39.99 - £49.99 for a new game. It also comes complete with a 60 GB hard disk drive, which when I bought my Xbox i only got a 20GB hard disk drive . The BLU-RAY discs are a lot more expensive than a normal DVD but it will play DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW so you can still watch your old DVD's. It also plays ps1 format CD-ROM, CD-DA (audio CD), CD-R/RW and super audio CD. Sony have said that it is backwards compatible but this doesn't apply to all ps2 games as we have found out but they do have a web site www ...
Advantages: amazing graphics, can insert phone + camera memory cards. internet access Disadvantages: no hi def cable with purchase
The graphics capability on this machine are awesome. I have both an xbox360 and a ps3 and although its hard to put a finger on it theres definatly something extra in the PS3, Unfortunatly the games at the moment aren't as good as its main rival the xbox360 but with almost all future games being compatible on both consoles the PS3 is sure to overtake the xbox in sales. The future addition of "home" also looks a good idea by sony as you be able to access other gamers video's and pictures if you allow them to do so. If you have played both consoles or as i do 'own both' you could almost say its as if sony delayed the release to see what the xbox had to offer and then bettered it. Being able to insert your memory card from your phone and video camera make helpful additions to the console. Also i like how you can make a difference to other ...
