the feet patterns on the screen was something of a challenge. However I persevered and I now enjoy them. They are tricky of course if you have a cat sitting behind the balance board where you want to step off but that really enhances the variety of the routine. Rather interestingly I once picked up the cat to carry it whilst doing an exercise and WiiFit queried my sudden weight change!
Jogging
For this exercise you don't use the balance board at all but put your Wii remote in your pocket and jog on the spot to move along the track on the screen. If you don't have pockets you can just hold the Wii Remote to get the same effect but you don't need to be a genius to realise that you could get along the track by sitting in an armchair moving your hand up and down although the only person you would cheating would be yourself!

Advantages: weight loss or weight gain depending on what you choose to do. very fun games! Disadvantages: its not entirely accurate, can strain yourself if you over do it.

There are muscle work outs to tone and shape every part of the body and each individual exercise aims it at a certain part of the body.
There are balance games such as hula hoop where you use the balane board to sin the hoops etc. The game is packed with plenty to do you won't ever get bored and can get in great shape.
The price of this product usually depends on where youu buy it from but the average price is around £69.99. I think its money well worth spent. Instead of paying for all those gym fee you can pay that one off price and get in shape 24hours a day, 7 days a week.

Advantages: Good value for money, increased workout choices Disadvantages: Limited target settings
After using the original WiiFit game for about a year, I found the WiiFit Plus to be a big improvement, and good value at only £20. It automatically transfers all your saved data from the WiiFit so you don't have to start over.
I found the major improvement to be the facility to program a workout, rather than just being able to do individual exercises as before - it means a much better workout overall as you don't have to keep stopping and selecting exercises. You can either select a preset workout from the menu or customise your own using your favourite bits.
There are a number of new excercises present as well which I found great as I did start getting a bit bored with the limited selection on the original WiiFit.
The calories/target section is a bit of a let down, you can set a target for calories to burn each day but these are ...
