Not perfect but close

Advantages: Easy way to add storage
Disadvantages: More expensive than internal drives

Good product, bad software, terrible support

Advantages: Capacity, web server, ftp server, torrent client, 1Gb Lan
Disadvantages: It can corrupt data

In short: Freecom Network Drive Pro 500Gb is good idea, bad software, terrible support. I bought this unit couple weeks ago. Promises were high: NAS, web server, ftp server, even torrent client; software is basicaly mini-Linux distribution. Review of Freecom Mobile Drive XXS 250 GB

They should recover your data also Free of Charge

Advantages: backs up all your familly stuff
Disadvantages: If it breaks you maybe can lose all your memories or it will cost you

...back on my REPLACEMENT from Argos ( but all this is costing me more money the company will not refund me for), even if the hard drive is still under guarentee so beware i contacted Maxtor customers sevices and they have not even bothered replying so there you go ...
