I have been doing most of my Xmas shopping on line this year where I can to avoid the rush of town. I placed an order with Extrascents on 26/11/2007 to ensure that delivery arrived in plenty of time for Xmas. You would ythink that amonth before the date in question this should be sufficient.
After 2 weeks I contacted them to advise that I still had not received the order and to ask for an update this. I was told to wait until 15 working days 12/12/2007 before anything could be done. I contacted them on 14/12/2007 and stated still non receipt, no reply, hard to find contact number on website, finally got through today and unable to give replacement or refund before xmas. I asked if they could dispatch the items first class or any level of guaranteed delivery and was met with a flat no.
Unhappy with service would not use again or reccommend that anyone did. Poor Customer service. The attitude from the chap I spoke to was not good either as he just said we have to follow Royal Mail procedures and kept talking about their contract with them for refunds, I explained and pointed out that he also had a contract with me as the customer but he did not seem interested in this matter.
