When it comes to make up, I have to make sure that the product I am getting is of good quality. It doesn't have to be 'designer', but it has to be lasting and easy to apply, doing as it says on the tin. I have always wanted to try the Mac pallets but the price has always put me off. Amazing, truly false lash effect!

Advantages: Volumises,thickens & gives a false lash effect.
Disadvantages: Although it claims to have a separator, this mascara is so thickening that you need another brush

I was really surprised when I first tried this mascara, it instantly made my lashes double the length (where they were almost touching my eyebrows!) & also doubled the volume. I think there is any mascara I have used which is as close to a false lash effect it has to be this one. It is very thickening, opens your eyes & volumises at the same time. My lashes were lengthened as well. Others who saw me also commented & said how big my lashes were! ...

Get that wide eyed look!

Advantages: Easy to use, easily removed, looks amazing

...is priced at £7.00. However Boots regularly do a £5 off No7 voucher when you spend £10 or more and so I have never paid more than £2 for my pencil! Bargain! The eyeliner is increadibly easy to use. I apply this to the waterline of my eyes. The consistency of the liner is quite creamy and it goes on quite easily. ...The smudge tip is useful for when you want to create a more smokey look and equally handy when your hand slips and your eyeliner goes a bit off course! The pencil can be sharpened with a normal pencil sharpner, although you I do rub down the point a bit as I am scared of poking it in my eye!
