I am not one for getting overly made up and in all honesty I don't see the point in wearing false eyelashes every day however on special occasions I do like to buy them. I think with false eyelashes they make me look more glam and really do photograph well and some of my nicest photos are with them on so they really do look good on. Some can look ridiculous but if you buy a pair that are not too over the top and fake looking they can actually look really nice. I had a party coming up and don't normally have a brand but I wanted the Girls Aloud ones as I needed some and think Kimberley's look the best.

PACKAGING

The box is very easy to see it has an image of Kimberley Walsh on the front looking glamorous and then is has her autograph on the front. It is sophisticated looking and through the clear window on the front you can see what the eyelashes look like. The box is black with a gold pattern all over and it says that these lashes were designed by Kimberley herself. It is a small rectangular box and on the reverse is a quote from the girl herself saying 'My lashes give great length and texture. I love the boost they give to my eyes!'.
THE LASHES

These eye lashes are quite natural looking but long still which is what caught my eye about them compared to the other girls'. These lashes are designed to enhance the natural beauty of your eyes and are suitable for all eye shapes and occasions. They are meant to be lightweight, easy to apply and reusable as well as being contact lens friendly. Well I wear lenses and have never had any issues with false eye lashes so wasn't expecting any problems.

When you open the box, out comes a plastic tray where the eye lashes are lying stuck to an eye shaped mould. It states the right and left eye lash and then you also get an instruction leaflet and adhesive with these. It is good to get the glue as I have seen some lashes not come with this which puts me off buying. When you feel you are ready to apply then you go through the following steps. First, you should do your full make up before using these and you can give these a coat of mascara as it recommends but I don't think you need to as they look dark enough.

Next, measure it to your eye and if you feel it is too long then trim the eye lashes on or two at a time from the outside edge. Put the eye lash on the tray and apply some of the glue along the lash band and wait 30 seconds then look down into a mirror and hold the lash close to the natural eye lash line, as close as possible. Press it gently across the lash and hold at the ends as you don't want them flopping off. Just always expect it will feel funny at first but blink and get used to having a little bit more weight on the eye.

The lashes were great on, I got a lot of compliments and they looked good with my make up gave me an extra boldness to my eyes. They lasted the whole night but if you are worried about emergencies then bring your glue out with you. The lashes are very easy to take off, you literally just hold the outside edge and then peel off gently and it shouldn't hurt at all. Make sure you take them off before bed time so that your eyes don't hurt.
COST

I got my eye lashes in Boots, but I am sure you can get them other places. I paid £5.36 for mine which is standard for all of the girls and it isn't too bad compared to the average price for eye lashes. Superdrug are charging a little bit cheaper for these at only £5.11 which is a good price for them also.

If you want more information on these eye lashes then go to http://www.eylure.com/ the official creator of these.
