Advantages: good travel size Disadvantages: can't really think of any
this book isn't very big, which means it is easy and conveniant to carry around with you on the go. i like to buy one for each place a travelto, as they are very handy and make a nice collection. these 'top10' guides cost £6.99, which is what i paid for mine, but you would probably be able to find them cheaper on the internet somewhere.
the thing that most attracted me to this book was the fact that it was specific. you can get longer eyewitness books about a country in general, and whilst they are also very good, these 'top10' guides focus on a specific part of a country, so you get more useful information on where you are actually going.
on both of the inside covers of the book there are fold-out street maps, which i thought was a very handy thing to have. there are also a few smaller maps inside the book.

Advantages: Small and Compact yet extremely informative Disadvantages: NONE NONE NONE
I noticed on the member centre that Dorling & Kindersley have posted a competition on their books; this truly was an opportunity not to be missed for myself. We often use the Eyewitness and also Top Ten Guides when researching our trips abroad. Why Top Ten?
I love the top ten guides as it is colourful - there is nothing like pictures to ...
Advantages: Over 900 full coloured photographs and up to date information Disadvantages: Can be heavy to carry around on the trip
Ok, you are off on another trip or maybe this is THE TRIP of a lifetime. One should never travel without a little information and Cuba is DEFINATELY no different. Yes, this is another Eyewitness book that I have used successfully and one that can help you on your travels.
Let's take a look!
Cover:
The book is laminated paper back that is VERY sturdy. The photographs and art work of Cuba decorate the front and make it very inviting. The back gives a quick overview of what is in the book and more pictures and maps.
On the inside cover you will find a map of Cuba colour coded for the various areas and makes it easy to find the information in the book about specific areas. The areas are:
Western Cuba
Havana
Central Cuba-West
Central Cuba-East
Eastern Cuba
