~~THE PROMISE~~
These are supposed to last for up to 4 weeks, and can enable you to design your lashes for a perfect day or evening look. They are also suitable for contact lens wearers.
~~WHAT ARE THEY?~~
Quite simply, these are individual eye lashes- 17 each of short, medium and long, in a plastic holder, and all individually spaced so there is minimum confusion!
They come in a small box complete with a tiny bottle of adhesive and a tiny bottle of remover. Imagine a perfume sample bottle, and go a bit smaller and that's the size, along with the same kind of "difficult to pull of top" they often have.
~~USING THEM~~
The instructions make it sound oh so simple.
Make sure your eyes and lashes are clean, and pour some of the adhesive onto foil. Using the short lashes for you inner lashes, medium for centre and long for outer, pick the chosen lash up with a tweezer, dip into the adhesive and stick the knotted end to the top of your eyelash.
In this way, you can work towards the outer corner, and use 7-14 lashes per eye, depending on the effect you want.
To remove them, don't pull, use the remover.

The website, www.eylure.co.uk has lots of beauty information, and I have since found out that for real fans, these are available in packs of short, medium and long lashes, as well as the combination pack I bought.
I can't see if these are available to buy online, but they are sold in larger chemists and supermarkets
~~What I think of them~~
These are altogether too fiddly for me.
They are not cheap, and although the instructions are comprehensive, it's really not especially clear how you stick them to your own lashes. I think the tendency here is to stick them to your eye lid.
The adhesive comes in a tiny amount, and it seems that one use ensures that it is gone…eylure do sell extra bottles of adhesive. With a bottle of adhesive, I did manage to stick on a couple of eyelashes, and although they looked quite effective, they fell off almost immediately, so I have no idea how they stay on for up to 4 weeks. It must mean no touching or washing of the eyes.
There are plenty of lashes to chose from, and I would imagine that if you got the hang of them, they would look effective. The website states that Kylie and Victoria Beckham are fans, But somehow, I can't see them struggling to apply their false lashes with the adhesive on a bit of foil.
For me, these are a no go area, and having given them to a couple of friends to try, I have decided that it's not just because I am clumsy- they really are very tricky to apply. My suggestion is to leave the false eyelashes to the professionals- far less frustrating, much better look, and in the long run, probably cheaper.

I'm afraid I must leave now- it's been a nice departure into the world of false lashes, but Mascara Woman's task is not yet complete. ...only this time opting for Eylure Individual lashes.
Eylure Individual lashes cost £4.99 and come in two colours Brown or Black. The blurb on the packet says the lashes will offer "Natural fullness for 3-4 weeks" and that they are also suitable for contact lens wearers. Eylure lashes can be found at Boots Superdrug and on the Eylure Website which I will detail at the end of the review.
The lashes come in three lengths Short, Medium and Long and ... ...four weeks and are really easy to remove providing the Lash remover is used dabbed on some cotton wool. All in all great value for money.

I was always very jealous of all the celebrities and magazine cover girls glancing into the camera with their huge amazing eye lashes, so yesterday I thought I give it a try and I went to the pharmacy to purchase one of these do it yourself wonder kits.

My choice was Ylure mainly because of the packaging. I have never tried false eyelashes before, so I thought I need to try the most professional looking one, even if it is a little bit ... ...the beginners difficulties. The Ylure’s package is really inviting, the discrete white and lilac shades suggest luxurious quality and the transparent window in the middle showing the individually fixed different sized lashes says this product has nothing to hide, no risk in the purchase. On the front side you can read 3 promises: 1)very natural intense effect 2)will last up to 4 weeks 3)suitable for contact lens wearers –sounds good, natural is perfect ...

I naturally have very short, stubby lashes and wanted to try something a bit more permanent than mascara to enhance them, so i purchased these Eyelure Individual Lashes from Superdrug, as they claim to last up to 3 to 4 weeks. The box they are packaged in has a clear plastic window so you can see the actual lashes. There are 3 rows - short lashes, medium and long, so you can vary lengths as you go along the lash line. The lashes come with instructions ... ...apply the lashes, the instructions stated that a small amount of adhesive should be placed on a bit of foil and the lashes dipped in before application. Even this was a bit inconvenient, as i didn't have much foil to hand. The whole process was just fiddly. As I went to apply a lash, i would press down in an attempt to fix the adhesive. Almost as soon as i looked up again or tried to blink, however, the lash would flutter off, obviously not having ...

Eylure Strip eye lashes *glamour perfect lashes for a glamourous look , they look natural unlike some really thick lashes on the market, there unbelievable easy to apply i used the tip of a kerby grip to push the false lashes into place so i would suggest having something simular to assist the application . the box claims there suitable for contact lens wearers, as i dont wear contacts i cant back that , but i would reckon so as there so light .. ...
