Why did I buy these?

I bought these for a night out on Saturday. Naturally my lashes are quite short and also quite light in colour so even with a generous helping of mascara on them they dont look how I would like them to.

My friend suggested getting some false lashes. I hadnt really thought about this before as I had assumed they would be difficult to apply and as ever, money is tight so I didnt really want to waste money on things I didnt really need. However, she said she would help put them on and as it was a special occasion I decided to get some.

Where can you find them?

I found these in my local Boots store. They didnt have a great variety of lashes but Eylure seemed like the main brand they stocked and these were also the most reasonably priced so I opted for these. I went for the Naturalites as in these lashes were quite glamorous with lots of long thick black lashes with a good curl. I paid £5.10 and they are available from Superdrug for the same price.

Whats in the box?

It is worth noting here that these lashes are reuseable and they also come with the adhesive you need to stick them on with so this box is really everything you need unlike some other brands.

How do you apply them?

So when it came to putting them on my friends sister actually did it in the end. She found it easy to get them out of the box and follow the instructions. The lashes were the perfect size for my eyelids but they can be trimmed down if needed. There is a left and a right lash and these are clearly marked, aiding easy application.

To apply, she simply squeezed a bit of the glue onto each one and stuck them on my eyelid. She didnt need to rearrange them and they looked great. They did feel quite funny to start with but I think this was because I hadnt used false lashes before, after ten minutes or so I found I didnt notice them.

Are they comfortable?

They were comfortable to wear. I have sensitive skin and eyes but I had no problems with these. I also wear contact lenses and they were fine with these aswell.

How do they look?

The lashes looked fantastic, many people commented on how nice my eyes looked.

Removing them

To remove the lashes you simply peel them off. I was dreading this as I knew it would be when I just wanted to crawl into bed and I didnt want to be messing about with lashes, however they peeled straight off and left no glue on my eyelids.

Summary

I loved these lashes and as they are reusable I will definitely be using them again and adding more to my collection. They are comfortable and easy to apply and give an instant transformation. Recommended.
