The Persona C16 delivers personalized cards with simplicity. Just plug in and print out! It's as easy to use as a regular office printer. Drop-in ribbon and card loading make it easy to refill. For added efficiency, the C16 has an increased input hopper capacity of 100 cards. It also features an easy-to-read LCD display that shows printer status and other helpful messages. The Persona C16 is a great choice for common applications. Its smooth, reliable operation keeps up with frequent use at an economical price. Optional magnetic stripe encoding and an optional USB-to-parallel interface cable enhance its value even more. With its small footprint, the Persona C16 fits easily on any desktop. It's also an ideal solution if you need to print cards at multiple sites, because it's light enough and quiet enough to be taken anywhere. The advanced dye-sublimation technology of the C16 produces vivid, photo-quality cards on demand. The printer delivers professional, edge-to-edge results in only 30 seconds.
Advantages: Excellent value for money Disadvantages: Doesn't come with installation discs, I've had issues with WLAN
...of which is about 11GB and is used for a back-up of the original set-up on the computer. When you first use the laptop, you're prompted to create a back-up on either CD (11 discs) or DVD (2 discs), so once you have these discs stored somewhere safe you can technically delete the contents of the back-up drive and use it for your own files.
I must admit I'm slightly concerned that the laptop didn't come with any installation discs. In my experience it's a leap of faith not to have an original Windows disc as where computers are concerned I'm Sod's Law in person...as are most people I know, come to think about it. I can only pray and touch wood that I'll never need more than my back-up disc!
The machine weighs approx 3 kilos, and is small and light enough to be easily carried around. Battery life is quite good, I can get about 3 to 3...

Advantages: Not that ugly, clear screen Disadvantages: Heavy, lame specs, sound, making you cry because you spent £550 on this sh*te
...or I'll break down on you during your deadline' type of persona. And frankly that's good with me since I don't want people to laugh at how ugly it is.
I wanted to go through the thick manual, but it's in black and white and if I really wanted to read something as uncolourful as this I would buy The Sun and read the centrefold. I did hav a quick glance inside the manual and it's easy enough to read and understand, but they didn't make it interesting enough to warrant 15 minutes of my time.
The keyboard is your standard affair QWERTY with all the laptop special button functions. The keys don't stick and they all work reliably. Nothing new to report then.
The screen is a 14.1" TFT screen, it's clear and bright with a reasonably good viewing angles. But the problem is that you will get dead pixels rather easily with this screen, I kind...

Advantages: Reliable, fast, easy to use, works with IE/FF, accurate identification. Disadvantages: No 64 bit support; works only with XP/Vista
...The hardware piece is well designed, rugged and works very nice. The software that comes in the package is very easy to use.
The installation procedure is very straightforward: insert the CD in the drive, click the Next button a couple of times, plug the fingerprint reader, restart the computer.
The day-by-day usage is also very simple, since the program interface is very intuitive: on a logon screen, touch the reader, select the fields, fill them and it's done.
The program (DigitalPersona Password Manager) always popup up balloons telling you what to do next, so there isn't need to even check the manual: after some tries you become completely familiar with the software.
With all this easiness, after a week you just can't stand typing your passwords anymore on logon screen or websites.
The worst con about the product is...
