FEAR 2: Project Origin (Xbox 360)

Overall:

F.E.A.R 2 is a game that trys to follow on from one the greatest and stand out FPS'S out there. Even thourgh it clearly does this, you are still left wanting more. With a mildly scary campaign that dosent want nearly as long as it needs to be and a good when its good bad when its bad online multiplayer F.E.A.R 2 is average.

Singleplayer:

The main highlights of the campaign are the cleverness of it. Even when you arent looking into it majorly you noticed the small little details. For example how the A.I talks to each other and tells them what you are what your doing and what they should be doing. Another example is how it feels like the game knows when you are about to turn around and triggers Alma to scare the life out of you. They even did the whole mirror thing you see in movies. Dont worrie if you dont understand. This isint even to mention the great physics engine (Yes, Sometimes it has its glitches but one game dosent?)

From my point of view I liked the ending. Alot of people know about the ending by now but I wont say too much. Its one of those endings you ethier love or hate. I never seen a better ending to a game in my life.

Multiplayer:

Ok, This needs to be said. When you join a game that dosent lag its perfect when you join a game that does lag its not playable. Sadly, theres no inbetween.

There is a major lack of mutliplayer maps, choices and gametypes. With this said the maps gametimes and loadout choices there currently are, its still great

F.E.A.R 2's team have said they will be making free dlc. I have put this under multiplayer as this is most likley to be multiplayer maps.

The ranking system in F.E.A.R 2 is like this

1 Kill - 10xp
1 Kill near objective - 20xp
1 capture of objective - 10xp
Sucide - Minus 10xp

And even thourgh you think you wont sucide alot, it happens. Now when you think about that and the fact that the third rank is 10,000 (sorry as far as I've got) it could take some time. Well to make it worse I never am finding games. During the day (GMT TIME) I can never find a game. If I want to play F.E.A.R during the day I will find few games but they wont be laggy cause they're all around me pretty much. However if you want a choice of games then you get that, along with tons of lag.

P.S I kinda miss the instant action mode from F.E.A.R on 360
