The game itself is amazing... the graphics are good and unlike some of its counterparts the screen image did not ... ...I was fine (something regular FIFA players will not have a problem with).
There are leagues etc, and they even have the proper team names and kits ( know this is not a revalation to regular's of FIFA... but it was to me)!
I can safely say from the guy I talked to that this is the best on the market at the moment.... great visuals... tons you can do and hours of fun! ... more

The game itself is amazing... the graphics are good and unlike some of its counterparts the screen image did not make me want to throw up ( I often find this with fast moving games with high graphics)
After the initial trauma of my mate saying "why don't you give it a go" and actually trying out the game, I must admit I'm kind'a hooked!
I am told (by my male friend) that:
The serious ("FIFA...") has been going for around 13 years now, and numerous games have been released (14 at last count) and this is the most realistic so far!
Now I know your going to say "how does she know", well, after years of hanging round West End (of London) game arcades I can tell you I know! The presentation of the whole thing is amazing, the avatars of the players could be better, but when you look at what's going on you can forgive them this little weakness. We played the PC version and you do need a very fast and top notch pc with good graphics card to get the most from it, but overall A1 all round!
There's a commentary from (now forgive me, but I've never heard of them....) Clive Tyldesley and Andrew (or Andy?) Gray. I have found these rather annoying in other games (PES etc, when I've watched the male friends play against each other), but this was actually rather good and made a good game even better.
And they even play half decent music as well (girly thing again boys... please stop groaning).
The crowds are amazing (I know I know, your not there to play watch the audience, but it really does make the game all the more enjoyable). My greatest joy was the replays (especially an amazing goal I scored which totally washed out my mates attempts... and the fact I kept replaying it).
Now the techy stuff (care of the male of the species)....
You definately need a controller of some kind to play it (having never played it anyother way I wouldn't know, but he says it's far more enjoyable with a handset than using the keys). We used one of those plastation controllers, but there are many on the market and they would all be just as good, far superior to playing via the keyboard.
He did mention something about 6 yard boxes and all that, but I must admit, I needed his help when it came to the fundamentals of the game, but these are easily got round if you actually bother reading the instructions!
The game play is amazing and you'll be screaming at the screen as you make an amazing goal. The passing fazed me a bit at first but once I got into it I was fine (something regular FIFA players will not have a problem with).

Graphics: If we come to the graphics the is very good ,player texture is good ,there are may stadiums and different types of grounds and we also have provision to play at day time or at overcast or night.I all ways play keeping night because stadium ... ...This another mode of playing FIFA in this we need to choose a team and we need to play games and increase the skill of player and we also have provision to choose a Sponsor and we need to play . Other Features: Here we can create own team and we can also create player and his attributes means his skill in game.while playing we can see player name on top of player for easy identification and we can also the player stamina and skill . ..............System ...

Advantages: Better graphics better gameplay more options Disadvantages: monotony
...say i have played previous Fifa incarnations on ps2 and xbox however this is the first pc fifa i have played. i have to say i am glad i did get it. Toi start with the graphics are so much crisper than on console and general gameplay is somuch better.
Now for those who do not know i am not going to beat around the bush but am going to say what i think there are just too many modes to write about and these really are unimportant what is important ... ...know what the franchise is fifa is a football simiulation game allowing you to manager and play the games.
You can make real time decisions involving every asdpect of the footballing world from sponsor ship deals to managing the team during the match.
Now i can say this the interface is the same as fifa 07 and has not really changed you have the auto sign in online etc still in the game.
Now the manager mode is the same and various other options ...

FIFA series are the most important game series for me. I have played many versions of this game including 96, 97, wc98, 2000,01,02,03,04,05,06,07 and 08. First of all, I must say EA sports is making the right games to be played but even that one has some disadvantages.
FIFA08 is a good game with some new functions such as saving a full replay of a match, playing the game while locked to control only \"one\" player (called \"Be A Pro\" mode) and ... ...played the game both with my friends and the ai. EA did a great job in ai development this year which makes many of the players confused because this time ai is much more intelligent. It is much harder to score. The AI applies (especially ) defending and attacking tactics very well and it makes newbies feel bad. Another good option is: you can change the difficulty setting of the keeper too! That means while whole team is playing in "semi pro" difficulty ...

Advantages: There is new commentries in FIFA 08 and I enjoyed it. Disadvantages: Everything is a disadvantage in it.
...if u use to play FIFA for years then you will understand that EA made a mess with the configuration by seperating the association of "SWITCH PLAYER" and "PASS" from one another (They use to be on the same keys.)
But I think the reason for my negative review is that this game came out a year ago. I'm now playing FIFA 09 and really happy that I bought it cuz its improved about 70% things in FIFA .So I think u should skip this one and go for FIFA 09.

I'm playing Fifa since 1998 and played fifa 98,02,02,04,05,06,07 and now 08. All of them I enjoyed Fifa 07 mostly. It was really a great game.. tactics, playing style, graphics all of them were fully improved! and also the game play was awesome. But when I installed fifa 08, I was excited thinking how might be the game.. Unfortunately I was disappointed that there not much difference between fifa 07 & 08.... Fifa 07 was much attractive then fifa ... ...of attraction..
However fifa 08/07 is an addicted game for soccer lovers. The music tracks in the game are good. Not only just play matches, you can also create you dream football club, manage the club, upgrade club facilities, transfer you favorite players, Increase the player's playing ability etc.... BUT MOSTLY I THINK FIFA 08 IS MUCH BETTER THEN WINNING 11.. ...

FIFA MANAGER 08 blows Football Manager clean away. There are more options, better layout and it plays smoother and is easier to get started, but much more challenging.
This isn't just a Management game. You can start off as a player in the team. Player Manager, whereby you are part of the team and train and play the game. This is open only to male characters between the ages of 18 and 40.
The scouting system isimmense and realistic. You really have to be careful and listen to your scouts, as you could end up buying a real carthorse. This doesn't impress the fans or Chairmen.
The player ratings are broken down into so many categories, that you can really judge who your better players are. But their form and happiness are difficult to maintain, if you don't keep talking to them, or playing, them, they become disheartened and this ...
This powerful football simulation game is for the people that love football manager but get stressed with how serious it is and how bloody long it takes to play a match!
Fifa manager seems very similar yet is made simpler and to be honest a bit more child like. This sounds like a bad thing but I enjoy it more. You still get to deal with all the familiars such as team line up, contracts of players and staff, mechandising, sponsorship, construction... On this you even manage you own personal fund and girlfriend :D
The game still has depth its just a lot simpler in its nature. On this for instance you can instant result a game which takes about 2 minutes to play giving you half time for a chat with the players and for you to make your substitutions.
