It is full of enjoyment and it is also extremely competitive; playing against mates to be the ultimate champion of football. It includes a manager mode, create and structure your own tournament mode and much more excellent features to find and reveal. Also, while you are playing, you can perform wild tricks to show off and score goals.
Manager Mode
On manager mode you can choose a team (any team that exist) to start your campaign to become the best club team in the world. You proceed through your career improving your skills and start winning matches to earn money. By earning money you can transfer and buy players to up your ranking in the league and not get relegated. Also, you can choose the players salary, but don't go to low or they might decline the offer. When you appeal for a player they also give you a comment if the offer is too low such as "Are you joking!" or "You're no way close!". You can also sim matches, meaning instead of playing them you simply let the computer play for you within a matter of seconds (I would recommend not to do it in cup matched) and is very useful if you're against a pretty bad team. Also you can get points from winning the league, winning trophies and lots more ways to unlock and buy balls and alternative kits. Another feature is that you can enter tournaments and get trophies to improve your reputation and earn money. Multiplayer Mode
In multiplayer mode you battle against each other or with each other to play matches, simply for fun. You can pick any team (preferably a good one) and create your perfect eleven, from the squad, to make the ultimate showdown (match). In this you can pick the pitch, choose time of each half, type of pitch and if there is going to be offside's and yellow and red cards. Each half can last between 4-20minutes and after the match if it's a draw you decide between Golden goal (next goal wins) or extra time, then penalty shoot out. The match would be just the same as a manager mode match except it'll be much more competitive, as you are playing against a mate or friend. It has hours of everlasting fun and enjoyment, which will definitely keep you satisfied throughout the day. It is Epic!
You can now create a tournament, deciding what teams are in it, if the tournament starts with a knockout then the finals or just finals or a round robin (use any combination) and what the trophy looks like (key factor). Also you can play with more than one team so several people can play. The tournament lasts a long time but you can save and come back to it later, if needed.
Additional Services
When you're waiting for a match to start you get the chance to practice shooting against a goalie, as Ronaldino as your goal scorer. But if Ronaldino is not good enough or just not your type then you can easily change him on settings and create a much more exciting experience. As an additional service not any other football game has this sensational tool, so just keep that in mind.
Another additional service is that Fifa 08 has licensed all football teams and kits on the game, unlike Pro Evolution. This means you get your full value for money, playing with any team imaginable and possible. Also you can change the ball type, to most of the balls we see today. Isn't that just fab! For example they have not only the Premiership, but also the Championship and Leagues 1 and 2 with all the teams, players and official kits. Unlike it's rival Pro Evo which only has the premiership and not even real names, such as Chelsea which is called London (but it isn't the only team in London)

It is even cheaper than it's rival Pro Evo 2008 which costs 36.98 pounds from Amazon.co.uk!
Conclusion
This wonderful gamming experience is a joy to have, making the competition definitely competitive. Personally I think this game is absolutely fantastic, having a magical multiplayer mode and a sensational single player campaign, which might inspire children (and maybe adults) to be like their football hero.

Where to start with Fifa 08? I'm sure most of you have heard or asked the question...Pro Evo or Fifa? Don't lie you know that's why you're here! I've generally always bought both Fifa and Pro Evo games, mainly because I couldn't just pick one as they are both excellent in their own ways. I will now attempt to find differences in the games and eventually pick the better one....here goes....

Fifa 08 is the first Fifa game to arrive on the playstation 3. Having played all previous Fifa's, I couldnt wait for it's release, however, I cannot help but feel slightly disapointed with the finished product considering the hype that surrounds it.
The game play is much slower than previous Fifa's, very noticably, and somewhat frustratingly so. But this is to allow for the vast new skills moves of which it provides, just about every skill a footballer ... ...as be a pro mode, Fifa 08 has many other different modes in which you can play a game of football. FIFA 08 has evolved throughout the years and has had hard competition with its fellow main competitor "KONAMI". But this year it has exceeded all expectations and brought us a brand new game with new enhanced AI, new tricks, amazing graphics and always the most completed kits and names of players.
By holding down L2 and moving around the right analog you can perform amazing tricks that can cut through defenders but its not always so easy...

The problems with FIFA 08 is that its much slower then other FIFA's and yes we can notice it quite a lot but after trying many matches you will soon get used to it.
The menu system can be a bit confusing at start because there are so many features in it.The "star" players like ronaldinho, messi, van nistelrooy.... really look like real-life but their facial expressions are yet very weak. The none-stars don't look so much as in real life which ...

Fifa vs PES remains one of the hottest debates among football gamers. You can read all sort of reviews comparing both of them on the internet or in magazine and i must say the views are not unanimous at all. I have waited for PES to released before doing a full review so that i can see it for myself. So fellow gamers, here is my view.
Having played both games, i personally thinks that fifa 2008 stands out more for me (i am sure you could have guessed ... ...all, the graphics for fifa 2008 are breathtaking and it is exactly what you expect from PS3, a `futureproof' gaming consoles. After all, it is what it is all about. The pitch looks so real and i swear you can even see sweat dripping down the player's chin! My girlfriend even once thought i was watching a live football match on my tv when i was playing (bizzare, but it's the truth!). PES 2008 is extremely disappointing in this department. Fifa 08 is top class when it comes to player movement, realism, crowds, and player's faces. You just could not ask for a better FIFA package... or could we?
We can all moan and have our negatives but in my opinion the only one that I have is the fact that the weather cannot be changed on the game and it must remain constant throughout.

The x-box 360 is in my opinion, the best gaming console in terms of its online play. Although many do suggest that the PS3 does probably overshadow the 360 graphically wise, through my personal experience this is not true. In certain games I have played such as COD4 and FIFA08 I have always preferred the 360.
The slight downfall to this is the pricing, in contrast to the PS3 you must pay for your online play membership, rechargeable batteries, wireless wi-fi and Microsoft points in order to download certain privileges.
The service the x-box servers provide is also fantastic. Occasional updates are made which help improve the current standard of the servers. However this process usually shuts down the servers for a few hours (meaning you can not play online), the benefit here is that the x-box live team will always inform you ...

Firstly Fifa 09 is not that different from 08. Graphics definatly better then fifa08 but I'd say that the gameplay of fifa08 is better. Different features of fifa 09- Players are much more realistic for example they fall over much more easily; you can accually see the referee in the game; headers are much harder to score from crosses; after you score you can do a celebration that you can choose by pressing the buttons it says for example: areoplane celebration down triange up; the all new be a pro season where you only control 1 player throughout the season, get your players experience up, score tons of goals and get bought by other clubs and different online features like Interactive ...

I have bought every version of Fifa since 2004. The graphics have been getting better and better each year. When you play Fifa 07 and then play Fifa08 it is extremely different, you have to get use to it. Fifa08 I think is the best version so far EXCEPT there are loads of faults. When you are in game play and hit the ball way over the cross bar and into the crowd it says something like "keeper just knocked that one away". There are loads of faults with this part of the game and when you realise them they will get on your nerves. Ill come back to the rest of the faults later on in the review.
Graphics
The graphics are the best in Fifa08 so far, you can tell most players who is who. The one bad thing is the crowd still looks rubbish. If you have a ps3 you should really consider buying Fifa08 for that as ...
