    Advantages Advantages Great graphics

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can become extremely easy

Plays on Windows 95/98/2000/ME/XP ~Basic Gameplay~ Fifa 2002 is an excellence game with extreme graphics which make you actually feel that you are on pitch-side. The add-ons which make Fifa 2002 look so much better than the other sport games such as This is Football 2002 (although that still is a very good game) is its off-the-ball special effects. You can easily hear the crowds chants, watch as the stewards and camera men adjust positions and flags representing teams being waved about. But thats enough on the off pitch action, now the on pitch action. Fifa 2002 starts the lauch of the weight ... more

Advantages Advantages Great improvements make it more playable

Disadvantages Disadvantages Requires far too much resources and lacks commentary

When I bought the latest version of the popular FIFA series, I knew I would not be dissapointed. After a couple of year away from the genre on my Playstation (Pro evolution Soccer taking over) I decided to give Fifa 2002 another go on my PC. I sure am glad I did. Installation. ------------- Very simple and straightforward. Compared to many games, FIFA was very quick to install. I was suprised how quick after my recent purchases in the PC market have lead to many minutes of waiting. It is self configuring when it comes to Sound card and Graphics but these can both be modified from within the ... more

Advantages Advantages Good football sim, that easily betters it's predecesors

Disadvantages Disadvantages Lacks true multiplayer support.

Overview: Fifa 2002 is yet another football sim, following a long line of football sims from EA. And being such, a lot of people will be wondering "why should I buy another one?". "Because it's better", is the brief answer. Ok - so every year a "new and improvmed" Fifa comes out. This year, however, the imporvements are the best since Fifa introduced true 3D to the games. Better player proportions, an improved control system and the tradiontial graphics improvments all make it the best Fifa yet. Gameplay: This is the area where the biggest improvement is seen. The revamped control system, that ... more

Advantages Advantages Next best thing to being there

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

The players, the stadiums, the massive crowds and the sensational new moves that Ea sports has been able to come up with have been near extrodinary. I bought fifa 2002 as i have bought each fifa since it came out and expected little change from the previous one but in fact there was a massive difference. The gameplay, is different, there are different buttons and moves that somewhat require skill that in previous series of Fifa were done at ease. The updated teams and players saves the average Fifa fan to go back and construct the whole team as the starting 11 on the park in real life is the ... more

    Advantages Advantages Good graphics

    Disadvantages Disadvantages same as others

when i got this for Christmas my parents asked me, 'whats the difference between this one and the other Fifa games?' Well, not alot, the graphics change, players and teams updated, and the odd new move. The main difference to the game play is the new passing. On amature level all your passes bar 1 in a 100 will go to the player, but on a higher level it is more difficult and alot more passes get intercepted. the second new feature that I like is the ability to command another play to make a run into space so you can pass to him, and the third is the 1-2. just one simple press of the space bar ... more
