Fifa 97 is a very average football game for the pc. It has not got very good graphics and has many different cups to play for. The players are not life like and you can customise them to your personal likings. The only down side to this very average game is that the music is very annoying and the commentary definitely is very very repetitive. The controls can be customised but not very well to be used on the keyboard or on a joy pad. The game costs about twenty pounds and so is a bit on the expensive side. Other than that the game is only average and so should not be bought
Advantages: You get to know ALL the names of EVERY player on EVERY team and have FUN at the same time!! Disadvantages: You have to turn it off sometime :O(
...I bought this product as i love football.. liked FIFA97 for the computer but all the new teams weren't on there so i decided it was time to get the new version!! The FIFA 2001 for the PS2 is excellent!! The players look so real! Its as if YOUR on the field with them, experiancing the game as it really is, except you have the advantage of being able to control ANY player you like HOW you like, which means the game is in YOUR hands... win or lose, at least you'll have had fun!!
In the game there are:
Authentic kits and team logos for licensed teams.
More human realism and diversity in players faces.
Visually impacting cinematic "In the game"
experience.
It is advisable to have a (8MB) Memory Card in order to save all your game...
