I bought this game after I had played Championship manager 99 to death, when I first started playing the game I was amazed by the options available and also the vast detail put into all the player stats.
After playing it for a couple of hours I realised that there were other features available for example the construction of training facilities as well as the development of the stadium etc. Although these may well be good added features it doesnt really to much to the gameplay in the game and also just a point surely the development of all building and stadia structures would be done at board level not manager level.
The highlight option to watch the game is a good feature, however this tends to slow the game down and it can take approximately 10 minutes for one game thus a season taking several weeks.
The game although good could be improved as I dont think it is a realistic as championship manager due to the vast detail and hardness of the game (eg I was sacked with Man Utd for finishing 2nd in the league) and also due to the amount of time it can take reading your daily ea messages.
If you have championship manager then I would leave this game on the shel as that is without doubt the best management game available on the PC and shall be for some time - roll out Championship Manager 3 01-02
