FSC Organic Linseed Oil

Linseed oil is not something usually associated as edible oil. Rather it is primarily used in industry.

Linseed oil is derived from the Flax plant and therefore is also referred to as flaxoil. The flax plant grows to a height of around 3 feet and the oil is obtained from the fruit of the plant, which is a pod/capsule.

The oil derived for edible purposes is cold pressed. The later hot press yields additional industrial oil.

Linseed oil is the richest source of Omega 3 LNA and helps increase immunity, helps in hair and nail growth and also is associated with healthy and softer skin.

It’s primary use though is to help in constipation. The secondary usages are to help reduce high cholesterol levels, helps alleviate those with Enlarged Prostate, Ulcerative colitis (chronic disease that is characterized by bloody diarrhea) and Vaginitis (inflammation of the vagina)

Other benefits associated with Linseed oil are for maintaining a healthy heart, although other medication is much more effective.

I first came across this product at a friend’s home. His father uses this on a regular basis, mainly for severe constipation problems, which he had been experiencing for many many years. Finally with the help of Linseed Oil his condition has improved considerably.
Personally I have never had to need to use it but thought that I would bring this product to your attention through this medium.

Linseed Oil (flaxseed) is not a very common medication and thus availability is limited to a few manufacturers and probably the easiest place to get hold of some would be at health shops or online.

FSC (Food Supplement Co) are one of the companies making this product and the type being used by my friend’s father.

They are presented in a capsule form and each capsule contains 1000mg. The dosage is one capsule daily and the bottle contains 50 capsules. They are quite expensive and are sold at £6.72 for the 50 capsules. The fact that they are also Organic add’s to the quality and the price.

If any of you are suffering from severe or prolonged constipation and other bowel problems and have not found any medication that seems to be working effectively, then I suggest that you look at Linseed Oil more closely. This relatively unknown oil may just provide the answer for many.
