~Grand Prix~ Grand prix is the main option on this game .It lets you race other machines but you can only be one yourself .In lap one you have to finish in the top fifteen. In lap two you have to finish in the top ten .In lap three you have to finish in the top seven. In lap four you have to finish in the five and in the final lap you have to finish in the top three. Your machine will lose energy when it runs into other racers or the guard rails. When the energy level drops to a certain point, your machine speed will decrease, and if it reaches zero, your machine will crash and explode .If you are running out of energy fast there are pit areas where you can restore energy to your racer. There are many special features that will appear. Some will cause damage and some can be helpful. There is three difficulty levels, beginner, standard and hard and there are three series, pawn, knight and bishop. Each series has five circuits.
~Training~ Training lets you practice racing without competing against other machines. All training will consist of five laps. If your machine is damaged beyond repair, your training session will end.
~Graphics~ The graphics are superb and the machines look great, it may even have the Eiffel tower in the background! The graphic really show what the Gameboy advance can do.
~Conclusion~ So in conclusion F zero maximum velocity is one the Game boy advances great games so I recommend this to anyone who is thinking of getting this. Thanks for reading!:o)
Advantages: Speed, Graphics, look its a great game! Disadvantages: Maybe speeding past your frineds isn't every ones cup of tea?
Now here’s a game that boasts blistering speed, mouth watering visuals and playability that will keep you coming back for years! All the ingredients for a brilliant racer then, and what is that game I hear you ask? Why it’s Maximum Velocity on the Game Boy Advance!
Now don’t be thinking this is just a straight port from it’s older N64 brother because it isn’t, it’s a new game in it’s own right. If you ever ... ...flying around corners at speeds in excess of 600+kph with multiple futuristic cars trying to ram you down all at once should set you straight. F-Zero boasts new tracks and new challenges for you to get your head round and completing them all is no easy task, you’ll need all your skill to finally beat that last track on the master difficulty setting but that’s not the least of you troubles. In total there are 10 new vehicles/crafts for ...

Ah - Friday the 22nd June. Oh, wow another day you say? Well does the words Game boy Advance release date remind you of anything! Ah yes, that little wonder, what a superb idea Nintendo have! What can you play? You ask.
Well there’s a little nippy game called F Zero X, maximum Velocity…
… Tell me more you say! Well OK here goes.
F Zero X has been around a long time. With the first title being on the SNES and the second being ... ...F Zero X: Maximum Velocity, though, will have to keep up with its predecessors. Can it do the job?
Well today I played on F Zero X: MV on a friends GBA. Oh boy what a game it was. Talk about speed... well I could but I may get arrested! I couldn’t put it down, and he got in a stress! Oh well. Here’s my personal review.
The game is very futuristic; the racing ships don’t have wheels. They hover above ground to make them super-fast. ...

Advantages: Fast, furious and fun Disadvantages: Somtimes too hard
...minutes deciding, I eventually picked F-Zero: Maximum Velocity because I have the old N64 version and it looked pretty good, and on playing the game, my thoughts were correct: It was good.
Story
F-Zero: Maximum Velocity is a futuristic racing game. Nintendo produces the F-Zero series, with the franchise beginning in the early 90's on the SNES. Next was F-Zero X, on the N64 and was, for a long time, the fastest game money could buy. Here we have ... ...be played on a Gamecube through a Game Boy Player. F-Zero GX has recently been released on Gamecube, and I hope to purchase it sometime soon. Anyway, let's get on to the game itself.
First Play
On your first turn, the computer allows you to make a file. There are three slots for files on the game, and all are stored in the game pack. You have a relatively small selection of options: Start, Rankings and Options. Select start and 4 modes are available ...

Advantages: Just like the original, but in the palm of your hand Disadvantages: A bit TOO like the original, not moved the goalposts any
Ah, fond memories. Hours used to be whiled away on this game on the SNES - so when i saw I could get it for my GBA I jumped at the chance. And I wasn't disappointed. Every single bit of this game looks just like the original, and it plays just like it too.
If you are a fan of the SNES version then this either won't disappoint as you slip back into old habits and revel in the familiar look of the whole thing, or you will find that, well, it just ... ...problem with nostalgia trips - there is no middle-ground.
Personally, despite the fact that there are plenty of more advanced racers out there for the GBA I found this game immensely enjoyable - the playability factor is still there in buckets as you slowly relearn the circuits to find the best lines.
If you're too young to remember the original game then this might not live up to the higher standards that you'll be used to, but it's still worth ...
