Advantages Just like the original, but in the palm of your hand
Disadvantages A bit TOO like the original, not moved the goalposts any
Ah, fond memories. Hours used to be whiled away on this game on the SNES - so when i saw I could get it for my GBA I jumped at the chance. And I wasn't disappointed. Every single bit of this game looks just like the original, and it plays just like it too.
If you are a fan of the SNES version then this either won't disappoint as you slip back into old habits and revel in the familiar look of the whole thing, or you will find that, well, it just doesn't seem as good as you remember it. That's the problem with nostalgia trips - there is no middle-ground.Personally, despite the fact that there are plenty of more advanced racers out there for the GBA I found this game immensely enjoyable - the playability factor is still there in buckets as you slowly relearn the circuits to find the best lines.
If you're too young to remember the original game then this might not live up to the higher standards that you'll be used to, but it's still worth a look.

Hello, hope you don't mind a little advice which may help gain the higher ratings but try and imagine nobody has ever heard of this game and try and describe it in detail. Have a read of a few other peoples reviews to get an idea of what information needs added. Adding to a review is done by pressing the edit button under the advantages/disadvantages section when looking at your review. Happy to read again if you add more information. Fionaxx
