Advantages: Dying is fun. Disadvantages: None
...small metal tubs of powdered Dylon colourant from Woolworths. An ad hoc dye vat was then made by dissolving the powder in a pan of heavily salted water, and simmering an immersed item of clothing or piece of cloth on the stove for an hour or two, whilst constantly agitating with a spoon. The process was messy and the results unpredictable. The restricted amount of space in the vessel meant that whatever was in it couldn't be moved around adequately ......the near future … then Dylon Machine Dye is THE must-have product for you. Retailing for a mere £3.99 in Wilkinsons (but dearer everywhere else), a box containing 200g of the dye powder is enough to permanently colour 500g (dry weight) of fabric … which roughly translates as either: 1 pair of jeans; 2 shirts; a skirt or dress; or a bath towel. In fact one pack can dye up to 1250g of cloth, but a lighter shade than that indicated on the packet can ... Read review

...part in a survey about Lenor and a few weeks later received one of their new Lenor Infusions Fabric Softeners in the post. The new Lenor Infusions are being marketed as an exotic and seductive fabric softener. Well, I'm not too sure how a fabric softener can be seductive, I don't find a pile of my husbands smelly socks that nice, but oh I thought I will stick with it and give it a try. Lenor is produced by Proctor and Gamble and has been around ......You could tell it was Lenor as the name was written on it and it did look a bit like their other products but I would say the bottle was designed more like an upmarket perfume bottle. My fragrance was the Black Diamond and Lotus Flower version. It has a lovely picture of a Lotus on the front with a lovely big diamond (yes, in my case Diamond's really are a girl's best friend) and the bottle was a gorgeous dark black colour. The tag line of this softener ... Read review

...myself to a couple of Dryer Balls. I've seen them many times before and have read about them, but always wondered whether or not they would work. I was in my local Poundland and I saw them for...would you believe!....£1, well as I like a bargain, I couldn't resist. A Bit About Dryer Balls Dryer balls are made from PVC plastic, which is able to withstand extremely hot temperatures and will not melt. You get 2 balls in the packet. They are approximately ......put the balls into the dryer with the clothes and start the drying cycle. The balls are believed to reduce static build up during the drying process, help to reduce the drying time, make your clothes softer and also reduce the amount of ironing needed. Dryer balls claim to replace the need to use a softener during washing. Dryer Balls tumble around with your clothing as it is drying, they lift and separate the clothes as they dry thus reduce the ... Read review

...I first bought Comfort Tropical Burst a month or so ago from Tesco's, the reason I immediately purchased it was because it was on a special introductory offer and only cost £0.95 for a massive 1.5litre bottle, which would last me well over a week considering it is much bigger than the usual 750ml bottles I tend to purchase. As you can see from the picture at the top of this review the bottle of Fabric Softener is supplied in a tall see through plastic ......only be found in the Comfort Concentrates range of products. I really like Comfort Tropical Burst because it smells fantastic and it leaves my clothes feeling soft. None of the kids or my husband or I have suffered any kind of reaction from using this product so it is kind to our skin as well. I think that the product is great value for money and one which I will continue to purchase and use regularly. You can purchase the Comfort Tropical Burst ... Read review

...some time now, and the lenor febreze effect fabric conditioner really impressed me. I purchased it for app £1.90 from asda, it were on special offer at that time if I recall correctly. Lenor claims you will get 21 washes from the 750ml bottle, a softer feel to your laundry, and a longer lasting fragrance. The scent is febreze, a floral/fresh linen smell, its hard to describe, but if you have bought febreze, you will know what I mean. I began using ......aqua in colour, with the lenor logo clearly printed on the front, the ingredients are clearly stated on the back of the bottle, and the recommended useage guides are stated on the side of the container. The lid could have been designed alittle better, as those whom have poorer grip, may find it difficult to open. I am fairly satisfied with this fabric conditioner, as it is well priced, performs well, and above all, smells great. Thanks for reading ... Read review
