Your profile enables you to tell a little about yourself or a lot. It's normally better to put more information if you want more people to contact you in my expreince, espcially since the site is still in it's infancy.

there are loads of things to do on face2meet - visit the chatroom, make new friends, message your own friends, just browse the profiles or just have fun with your own private profile site.
On top of that theres a platinum account, this has all the features of the gold plus the ability to see unverfied images. This swings in at 19.99 a year, is ok if you got the cash spare I imagine.
I have met some people of this site, some are now good friends, others I'd rather not say. I do sugest you always meet in a very PUBLIC place.
This is a fun site, and i think it will do well one day.
